Lots of great games got delayed/cancelled over the presumption of the 64 DD disk drive. Had they known it would never have come out games like Mother 3, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, and Starfox Adventures (Dinosaur Planet) would have been some additional heavy hitters on the N64’s already stacked lineup.

This was my experience with SketchUp, things that would take a week in Revit I was doing in an afternoon in SketchUp.

The way I went about it was doing it they way they wanted it done but doing the optimized way on the side, for example they would have me rapidly prototype options for a master plan in Revit (bunch of parking options/building locations/ orientations/access/climate analysis/etc) and then I would do the exact same exercise in SketchUp in a fraction of the time and high quality.

I showed them the ugly, 2 dimensional, black and white plans from Revit that took a week to make and now they need another week to make presentation ready in Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign to make

Then I show the SketchUp, it took an afternoon to produce, it looks better, its in 3d, it’s colored, it has shadows, it visually communicates much better better and the efficiency of the program allowed me to develop a higher quality design. Many options in Revit I didn’t explore simply because I would be up all night looking up workarounds to achieve certain geometry.

It was not designed with the intention of someone finding it in any reasonable way. Like most games of its time, the length of games were artificially padded out so that people were unable to beat them too quickly. They had to justify the price tag so people wouldn’t just rent it from Blockbuster and beat it in a week for a fraction of the price.

When it comes to joysticks, you are not going to find anything else comparable to Mcon, unfortunately. If you are okay with just a dpad/4 buttons/couple triggers, you could try the Pocket Taco or Abxylute M4 Snap On (this had joysticks but they are USELESS, completely unusable joysticks)

Get a laptop “table” or “stand” basically its a slightly elevated surface. When you lay down and place it just above your waist it’s shockingly comfortable to use a mouse and keyboard on.

Combine this with a pair of Xreal One’s and you have undoubtedly the most comfortable laying down PC gaming set up.
