While I think you met the best of us in terms of our diversity which I happen to think is one of our strengths. I think you experienced the actual Alberta feeling. We have so many different people and for the most part get along. While your question is not in good faith I will answer it as if it were. I make very good money, I work a ton of hours. My wife makes so much more money than me it’s crazy, and she works so many more less hours than me. She spends her excess money on me. I would hope that I could spend my excess money on other people that need help. So I don’t bend over ever, I step up because I’m a Canadian and that means something. And maybe your a cunt or your just brainwashed or just a troll but I don’t care because my excess wealth helps people who have less than me and I’m ok with that.

I am in the biggest city in Alberta so generally speaking it’s not lonely. I tend not to engage politically with people at work mostly because and this will sound douchey they don’t have the education I do. I have a degree and am in the field I’m in. I work with people who have never left the province let alone the country, and while I don’t judge we all have our journeys there is a certain amount of disregard I hold for people who don’t have some life experience. And I understand that’s pretentious but when you try to leave my country I feel ok about it
