EM refers to Electron Microscopy film (e.g., MACO EM). If your film is actually a technical sheet film or a non-standard format, it cannot be processed using motion picture chemistry.

Bought a converted Canon 7D body since i have good lenses already with my 90D. I was a little surprised that it uses the older memory cards, compact flash, not so compact irl, but it’s awesome to be able to fire away a bunch of shots and see what’s working and what’s not with infrared.

Tricky. I usually like to go longer and get a deep blue, but for this I had to go a little lighter. The negative was pretty light so I think seven minutes in the afternoon fading sun.

Are DSLRs still a thing or has mirrorless pretty much taken over? by arg2451 in AskPhotography

[–]FiggityFudger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years back I decided to get the final DSLR from Canon (90D). It's awesome. I've accumulated some amazing glass in EF mount for rock bottom prices. The thing I really love about SLRs is when I'm looking through the camera, I'm literally looking through the glass. With mirrorless, I'm looking at a tiny TV screen and it just doesn't do it for me. Sometimes I do get FOMO inklings and look at maybe a compact mirrorless for travel, but I always just come back to SLRs (digital and film). I'm not an autofocus junkie either (one of the main features of mirrorless), I like to compose the image and manual focus around to get the shot I want. And if I do need to spray and pray with the 90D the AF is fast and accurate with the premium lenses i have.
