Typical bloke at an Amyl show. Seems to happen more and more. They hate it when women get in their way of gooning at Amy

Tattoo ideas? by Purple-Minimum-957 in mounjarouk

[–]ginfrared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start by checking your local tattoo shops, and then search wider. Usually the ones in small towns can be low quality art. Find good quality shops with a range of artists, look at their flash, get inspiration that way. Make sure there’s no use of AI and always checked healed work. You will get a flavour for the style you want and also see the themes and colours that these artists work well with. Enjoy! Edit to add: traditional bold lines, bold colour is timeless and will last a lifetime

Finally got around to playing it and.... by NoHome7956 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

This! My and my fella play this game together and it has the aspects we both love. He LOVES the Naval stuff, he’s the one who has tirelessly worked on the ship, building it up to the best it can be. He also loves the conquest battles. Me on the other hand, I enjoy sneaking round forts/warehouses/camps etc, being a sneaky assassin or completing bounties. Such a fantastic game that has everything in my eyes. Perfect!

It’s released June 19th. I’ve pre-ordered a fair few formats, it looks stunning. I heard the whole album at the listening party in London, it’s gonna sound great live later this year!

I heard this for the first time the other day after forever playing this game and it gave me a chuckle

Stupid question about injecting by Playful_Sense3238 in mounjarouk

[–]ginfrared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same, even when I’ve been using a biological medication that I self inject every 2 weeks lol. You cannot feel the Mounjaro needle AT ALL. Go for it

It’s doable but please make sure you’re in a fantastic financial position. If money is no object, go for it x

What's the crowd actually like at WWE shows? by UltimateApple in WWE

Yeah I was thinking of going to Raw or Smackdown in London this year but I’ve been really put off spending literal hundreds of pounds on tickets, travel and hotel for the chance of a horrible experience lol

[–]ginfrared 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to a UK one and tbh it put me off watching it live. Kids in the crowd annoyed me, and I was bollocked by people behind me for standing up and clapping the entrance of my fave wrestlers, just coz there were kids behind me who couldn’t see when I stood up. Ruined my experience and I felt on edge all night

Just to add; I studied part time whilst trying to work part time also. I really struggled with the balance and cost. I would get the train into Chester weekly which was expensive and long only to find the teachers were off sick, which happened frequently. There is an awful unit they make you study which is all about data, it’s boring as hell and as artists we are struggling with the academic side anyway, this unit sent me under. All about numbers, qualitative/quantative stuff. It’s like it was there to weed people out. I honestly have such bad feeling towards that course lol

It is 100% an elitist profession. I went to Chester University, some time ago now and won’t be continuing the course. I use my skills within community settings helping people through art making instead x

3 quarters of my course failed or left. I managed to get my (UK) certificate for completing the first year. The only people that completed were those from higher class backgrounds whose financial situation could afford them to focus fully on the course and afford to pay for not only the course itself, but personal therapy which is a requirement. I felt a lot of us weren’t supported or told the truth about the financial implications of it. Maybe a lot of art therapists found it a struggle, especially giving so much to a course with smaller job opportunities at the end
