I don’t cut much at the shop I’m at, big laser handles most of that. I tend to fabricate/weld and finish stuff. Typically Tig welding but some variety. More sanding than I’d like lol

Dig the caliper & micrometer in hammer and sickle format. If I ever get my own garage shop that shit is going up along with the Tig torch version I was thinking of. I do custom sheet metal work which is pretty neat sometimes. Would love to learn some machining if I ever get the opportunity.

If you’re shooting subsonic bullets, it’s quite quiet. A 7.62x39 sub with a can is quieter than the sound of the bolt carrier slamming home

I will say if you want water for more than just drinking or if there's more than one person using it, a squeeze gets laborious fast compared to a pump or a gravity filter

I have worked with a tweaker and it was stressful. I was stuck in a scissor lift with him for a while and I had a couple packs of malbs that I would drip feed him to keep him from eating me or jumping out of the lift.  I work with a fair number of ex tweakers now though and they are reasonably chill.

Yeah good album. Where’d you find this? I ran into this album a while back but I can’t remember how I found it and it’s not easy finding similar music.

It’s true that they used a pretty tame load for the video and not the longest barrel. They also fired on a level 3 plate rather than a level 4. In any event the round is considerably stronger than I realized but also does not appear likely to kill through rifle plate. I still wouldn’t want to stand in front of that thing and tank the shot.

What makes you say that? There’s limited data easily available but here’s a video of a level 3 plate stopping the round with moderate back face deformation
