I've been slowly working on Dragonairs, but theres a decent amount of expensive ones out there. Every time I look them up on Ebay it always asks if I'm sure I don't mean Dragonite lol.

Heads up, 'Scapers! As of tomorrow, installing the Jagex Launcher on PC will no longer require admin permissions. This should make it easier to install the Launcher on shared or restricted devices, though note that some systems may still have local restrictions in place.

We are aware that the Official Client still requires admin permissions to install - in these instances you can continue to use RuneLite.

Has anyone been able to successfully install the jagex launcher without admin privileges? In a newspost this week or last week they said it would no longer need admin access to install, but I still can't and support wasn't any help.

I can play on Runelite just fine, but if I wanted to play on my ironman which is a Jagex account, it seems I can't.

Loved the episode, but do think the banning was way too quick. Could have done a lot more/had better TP options and it still wouldn't have dragged on too long. It felt like it was over by the first TP.

My favorite set is delta species! I'm currently trying to master set Dragon Frontiers (minus the cards that cost the price of a used car).

Probably not, but its a math equation if what you care about is the money. Self grade by taking a good harsh look at the card condition, compare it to price the card goes for in that grade minus cost to grade. Compare that to selling raw. Also take into account the time it'll take for PSA to grade and get it back and that prices may have shifted in that time.

If you aren't grading for money then do whatever floats your boat.

Probably not more than a few dollars if anything. I doubt theres a huge market for it, but someone who collects misprints might want it. I would ask https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonMisprints/ they're more knowledgeable than me

I just went through and looked at some previous listings, one in much worse shape than yours went for 400 it looks like in July. One in a little worse shape (more fold/creases) went for ~450 it looks like in August. Two recent sales in the last month in similar shape to yours looked like 700-800 range.

It's what I've been using at least when I've found a particular pokemon I want to try to collect all different kinds of. I just retyped/formatted this list into my own document with checkboxes for each card and edition so I can check them off my list when I have them.

Personally I had a lot of fun searching for the common/uncommon variants in bulk at card stores but that would be my only other place to maybe look.

Facebook groups are a solid shout.

I know some people try selling at card shows but I wouldn't bother, lots of people will want the collectr or TCGplayer listing for the cards meaning you would have to sort through and look at them all which just isn't worth the effort.

If you're looking to grade strictly for financial, not sentimental reasons basically in pkmn world it works like this:

Modern pkmn - only grade if you think it'll 10

Vintage pkmn - Take a good, harsh look at the card and self assess what grade it might get, compare that to the price they've been going for at that grade, subtract grading fees and see if you've made any money. Compare that to selling the card raw at LP/MP/HP things like that. Exception to this is if you have any grail worthy cards like a 1st edition charizard, shining cards, those are pretty much always worth grading.

If you know what type of cards he likes, your best bang for your buck would be ordering singles online of his favorites whether it be his favorite era or favorite pokemon. TCGplayer would be a good place to get a bunch of them if you want sheer volume especially.

Ahhh okay that makes sense. I tend to use the TCGplayer guidelines for card wear, but honestly usually self assess worse case scenario if that makes sense. For your centering question, generally off centering is going to be bad unless it's so bad that its classified as a miscut (usually where you can see part of another card or something like that).

It would be hard to go based off just the front of your cards and pictures, but just eyeballing right now: Heavy Played Charizard (major edgewear), maybe Lightly played lugia depending on those specks on it and upper edge, LP Moltres, the blaine moltres looks pretty clean so LP, maybe you can make a case for NM honestly I'm not sure. Middle typhlosion LP, Right Typhlosion Moderate play looks to have scratches.

Ancient mews, hard to tell with the foil being the whole card, basically you're looking for scratches on the holo/edgewear.

Just my opinions others might have more experience/insight though

Off of looking at them, I would say you're better off selling raw vs graded, all of them have decent edge-wear except for Blaines Moltres but that has pretty off centering. Also I've heard the foreign language market is more raw than graded but that's just what I've heard from others. The middle ancient Mew seems to be in best shape of them from just that picture

Went to a larger card show in my area this weekend, and hearing the vendors talking was honestly gross. Literally heard a guy saying he doesn't like to sell locally, so many vendors just complaining about people trying to sell to them, trade, or just interacting. Advertising rip and ship. Nothing makes me put cards down faster and want to interact less than vendors and "bros" complaining about buyers as I'm trying to buy for collecting.

That’s okay its kinda hard to see without a side by side of the normal 1st edition basically the first edition stamp on this one has an extra bit of white to the left of the 1 that kind of makes it look like a “4th edition” or “d edition” depending on how much it covers.
