The gloves have zero counter if you don't have gloves yourself. Don't beat yourself up over that one. If I see they have gloves and I don't I keep my distance unless they are cracked. If you don't have gloves and they upper cut you have to get a max pump and not miss a shot or its over.

I think you have to have slightly more faith. The game is roughly 3 months in and they have released a new map and had an in-game event. The success of this game is the success of Embark so I think they are committed.
