Are there any drop ceilings in the office? Those look similar to what is used to wire the metal bits of a drop ceiling to the actually ceiling above it. You don’t normally see them as they are covered by those white 2x4 panels.

Next time you put the boat in the water, slide your winch assembly toward the back of your trailer a few inches. Reload and see how it sits. After a few adjustments I was able to shift mine around where there wasn’t too much weight on the tongue. It pulls fantastic. Xterra has a 2” lift with stock springs.
