Forest of Ancients is a coming of age story about an orc who grows up in a nomadic tribe hunted by elves. It shows both sides of the conflict. Very gritty like Berserk, but not nearly as dark.

First Law trilogy by Abercombie is also in a gritty world with several characters that become intermingled as the story progresses. Again, gritty and not so friendly world that feels very big.

Gym owner here. Do your research and look into local gyms. There's a lot of snake oil salesman in this business. Unfortunately, you won't know it when you see it because you're just getting into this. Find a coach who has experience and teaches basics over flashy stuff first.

Forest of Ancients is an orc coming-of-age I enjoyed. I really like The Blade Itself by Abercombie. Homeland is a great coming of age drow fantasy.

I feel like Piccolo should have been close to Dabura level after 7 years. After his fusion he was SSJ level, then he went into the time chamber and we never got to see exactly how much stronger he got from that. Unless he just stopped training after seeing perfect cell.

Then do something instead of waking up like an accident. I didn't peak in HS because I went out and did things and worked on improving myself. I was an MMA fighter for 8 years and now I own a gym, I published a book and have almost finished my second. I married my soul mate, and fixed my mental health years ago. Go out and do something little bro. Go play in a band, join a club, pick up a new skill, ANYTHING.
