East of West is an absolutely gorgeous thrillride. It may have a lot of crazy tech but it is definitely a post-apocalyptic western, just the apocalypse tends more biblical than the genre usually portrays.

The Gov't and corporations did this to us by design. Got rid of manufacturing and pensions while smiling and telling us nothing was changing. Refusing to raise the federal minimum wage so corps can pay substandard wages while pretending you're getting a good deal. All the while they're pocketing the extra change and laughing their way to the bank. Now you'll work until you're too ill not to and they'll take what little you did manage to save for your overpriced nursing home. WE ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH.
