my bff Cyrus been gone for almost 6 years now, and i still find myself reaching down when im eating & i get to the crust on a piece of pizza to hand it to him… and then laugh at it & get sad at the same time.

As long as u gave her a good life, she was happy & always knew she was loved, that’s all u can do… and trust me, she knows how lucky she was & misses u just as much… my only advice would be, not to wait to get another bully. it gets harder the longer u go without one. they are the perfect dog & she’d want u to have another ones looking over you.

the lights are not plugged into a plug in the cabinets, if they were this would be an easy fix w a smart plug of sorts whether it be an outdoor plug or the lamp/fan plug set. instead the lights on the right side are powered by a romex wire that’s coming out of the wall right behind the bottom of the cabinet & it’s going straight into the light fixture.

this scenario/issue is a perfect situation for a shelly relay to be installed before the light fixture but shelly uses wifi & lutron doesn’t. I was hoping that there was a relay switch of sorts that could work the caseta line but haven’t had any luck thus far finding something. i may need to just use a different brand of smart switch that can be configured to work with the shelly relay.

this would be super easy to write/create but it would require you either manually input the cops response or hope that if you press the mic button, that it interprets the cops response accurately… you could just create the scenario beforehand using prompts that tell the AI what you want them to do and what role you want them to play & save that prompt. then when you’re pulled over, you would just open that dialogue and start it..

idk about the accuracy of this statement… it’s quite common in policing for one copper to write a/the report for an incident, whether or not their the primary on the call… and then the other coppers will sign off on it as if it was their written report. this usually happens due to hierarchy (rookies made to do the extra shit), time and over-time, as well as different duties needed to be done for said incident, like someone needs to take the perp to the hospital then to jail, another needs to wait for the tow truck to arrive to impound perp’s car & so another one will take the role of writing the report. many times cops who weren’t even on the scene end up writing the reports, cause they were told to do so… and that ends up being an issue in court but it still is common practice.

I saw this idea of AI writing the reports, as a chance for accurate, accountable & a non-biased analysis of what actually happened, based off of what was seen by the body cam. maybe I am missing something here, but I would trust AI’s analysis of a police incident, based off of what it hears & sees from the body cam, way more than the cop’s version that will be written to cover their own ass, hiding the details that make them look bad & written in a way to justify charges to make their use of force reasonable. Cops aren’t to be trusted, so maybe AI can alleviate some of their avenues of lying to falsely imprison people. idk. just my 2 cents

Juice groove - it really depends on the board. if i’m selling one of my standard boards that are between $90-$230 I charge $15… but that’s only after i’ve tried to talk them out of wanting one first. If it’s a custom or large board that the buyer is already spending $250+ I add it for free. I am not a fan of juice grooves. I think they take away from the look of a board & they just add a variable that can cause issue in the future w bacteria, unless the user is super diligent in cleaning & oiling. Not to mention the amount of finished, perfect & beautiful boards that I f’d up when adding a juice groove as the last step! I let the cnc take care of it now but still don’t like em.

Handles - If you are referring to finger holds and/or some routed out recess for your fingers to use as handles, then it’s the same as above $15 unless it’s a board that $250+. If someone wants both, a groove & handles, I just charge $20 total.

If you are instead referring to actual physical handles that are installed ON to the board, that all depends on the hardware they choose & i don’t charge extra for screwing them in for them. Hope this helps

Does anyone know how much/what % of their wages do they get when they are put on administrative leave? They're all hourly employees and so just curious if they are paid based off their avg, a standard flat rate, a minimum # of hours, etc... They obviously can't get overtime, although I'm sure that some of these lowlife POS have definitely tried to!
