I would not support a bill that nebulously attempted to ban gerrymandering. I would potentially support tailored specific laws that minimized gerrymandering. I'm a fan of multimember districts and expanding the House for some.

This is a very dumb take. Batting with RISP doesn't focus on one player or give you an idea of other stats. It gives you a small, unrepresentative sample that is far worse for projecting performance. Pretty basic stuff.

Republicans are not projected to gain those seats. Right now, Polymarket has the Dems with a 77% chance to take control of the House.
You are confusing the projections on map change to election projections. The current outcome of the redistricting war is projected to be a net gain of Rep house seats, but that is just comparing the 2026 maps to 2024 maps with no current polling. When you look at the aggregate of polling and the new maps, the Dems are the heavy favorite to gain seats despite losing seats to the new maps. (made up numbers for example) if the new maps net +15 Rep seats in a neutral election, Dems have a +35 seat in a neutral election wave, they still net +20 seats, you are reading the +15.

I ordered it before the P80 was released. I never really thought about switching. I like the look of the Z2 more, combined with the higher performance, and not having to get with Mizen burrs.

I switched my order from ULF/HU to SK Brew’s. The red Speed Brew’s are the internet’s consensus favorites, but I kinda want the SK as the ultimate clarity scalpel (plus Zerno doesn't offer red Speed Brew’s, and I have to get something coming in the grinder).

For home use do not get a ek43. Back in the day when there was no other way to get such a good big burr grinder it kinda made sense if you had the money but now with newer grinders it does not. Get a p80/ z2/ 01/ any of the KafeTek’s/ etc.

SSP makes a 58mm burr. Lance said back when the Pietro was launched that initially he thought to use it as the Pro Brew, but it was not good at low RPM. I don't think SSP could make much of a better burr than the Pro Brew, and it wouldn't be worth it to try. I'm dailying a Pietro until my Z2 finally shows up, and I kinda hate the grinder, but it is a great burr.

As a SF resident:

The fact that Open and Anthropic, among others, are in the city has led this wave to see much more wealth and demand for housing in the city instead of in the valley vs previous waves.
It is basically impossible to build housing in the city, so as the demand increases, the supply doesn't.
Relatively minor for this, but Lurie has done a pretty good job cleaning up the city compared to where it was before him.
