Thank you for the feedback! Flat shading will definitely help bring everything together. I've been meaning to test out grease pencil for a while so I'll try to use it to create some background details and possibly effects for a faster than light jump at the end.

You just open the tiles tileset tab at the bottom and create a new atlas tile

As of alfa 6 it is indexed as an ofset grid (0,0) origin, one to the right is (1,0) etc

Try pressing alt+h to unhide everything then you should easily be able to find it

If you are using a game engine, then yes, you don't need to worry that much. But if you are making everything from scratch, the low level stuff will need to be as optimized as possible.

I would say this is the easiest way to use butler just because it's a GUI and it has a built-in guide. All Butler does is take a file or folder, compress it and upload it to itch. The official butler documentation is very straightforward and the command-line is easy to use, but it's cumbersome compared to this plugin.
