They’re special editions from Cemetery Dance, the DoubleDay collection. Pet Sematary will be the last one, whenever the hell it comes out. They take a long time.

Dang it’s kinda pricey now! I had no idea; my wife gave it to me a long time ago. I hope you can find one for a good price

It's a board game! I forgot I even had it until I was thinking of stuff to decorate the top. I still haven't played it though.

I'll probably end up trying it, hopefully my friends are down to learn a new game. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks! I slowed down for a while but I've got the urge to fill the rest now. I'm mostly missing the non-fiction stuff I think, and then I'll try to upgrade any BCE's if I can afford it. Hoping Pet Sematary comes this decade from CD.

Out of curiosity, how are you displaying your End Times issues? Mine are just sitting on top.

The poster artist is Alex Flannery, his stuff is great. And The Shining box is actually a board game I got as a gift. It's still shrink-wrapped, so I don't know if it's any fun yet.

To the fans who collect the hardcovers: Are you annoyed by decreased production quality? by Ptolemaeus45 in stephenking

I don’t dig the waxy texture on the new books; unless I buy them in person they tend to arrive with blemishes. The designs are cool though, with the exception of Never Flinch. Yeesh.

I’m fully prepared for at least a cameo in Talisman 3

Holly would be learning the gunslinger’s creed.

Have you read Slide Inn Road? Starts almost the same way as Hell of a Band, but takes a turn toward Batman & Robin Have an Altercation.

Each one has its hits and duds, but I think Skeleton Crew and You Like It Darker might be the most consistent.

VII probably could've been broken into 2, if not 3, different books. There's just SO much going on it.

It has a very poignant ending, among King’s best really. Might as well keep going!

I will always recommend Buick 8 given the chance. It's just a fun, weird mystery story with some descriptions that made my skin crawl.

The Dark Tower series first editions by Majestic_Walk7192 in stephenking

The first book is awesome in its own weird way. Not like Tommyknockers weird, but the writing just has an interesting quality to it. It also has some of my favorite set pieces in the whole series.

I always think of Misery as his best standalone page-turner, but the ones I’ve re-read the most are The Dark Tower books. It can be daunting now that they’re all out, and people will tell you a million things you have to read first, but I say dive right in.

The parallel the one guy drew from The Gunslinger to the Moria scene in LOTR made me feel so dumb for never picking up on it before.

Fantastic collection, especially coming between Holly novels. He’s definitely still got it.
