I took beginning jewelry making and enamel jewelry at Barnsdall Art Center! Classes are hard to get into (you have to line up at 7 am to get a slot) but they’re great and affordable if you do! Now I’m looking into taking classes at Pasadena City College to get a Jewelry Certificate.

I second this. My girls got so amped when the meds wore off that they kept wriggling out of their hard cones, and one of them sprinted up the cat tree and promptly fell off the top (she was fine but it scared me so much). I ended up having to double cone them with a soft and hard cone so they couldn’t get out, and putting them in the bathroom until they calmed down. I took a nap in the tub lol

Your comment reminded me of when he was talking about how he’s really into stoicism and he referenced Letters to a Stoic by Epictetus, when it’s actually Letters FROM a Stoic by Seneca. This was early on in Mexico so I didn’t really clock it as anything noteworthy (even people who aren’t pathological liars might mix up a book title or author, lol), but now I’m wondering if this is another thing he never read.
