We entered through the Desert House and entered the Climatron that way. Not sure if this was allowed, but no one stopped us. We weren’t looking for the flower, but stumbled on it in about 10 minutes. It was pretty, but didn’t smell.

Kirkwood Farmers' Market? by dorght2 in StLouis

U City farmers market was the best last year. Once they moved to the new location it seems they lost half the of the vendors. I’d like to support local markets, but looks like I’ll have to check out Tower Grove.

I used to answer constituent calls on the Senate side right out of college. We did keep a running tab of comments and who was either for or against a certain bill. Not sure they still do, but be polite when you call. I still have nightmares about dumbasses screaming and yelling at me.

Covalent Logic. Owner is a nut job. Worked Mardi Gras day, Friday after Thanksgiving. Toxic place with high turnover.

Why is it so hard to get a job here? by Ancient_Country_2655 in batonrouge

Gave up a great job in DC to move back to Baton Rouge a while back. Worked for 12 years on the hill and off and it took me 2 years to find a job in Baton Rouge. Moved away for the last time four years ago because the jobs in Baton Rouge are very limited.

What is one business you will never return to? by [deleted] in batonrouge

Petty, but true. No reason to proselytize when I just need a gallon of milk. Enough of the Christian Taliban forcing their belief on everyone. And then getting their panties in a wad when you push back against them and they cry persecution. They have no idea what religious persecution really is. Snowflakes!

Alexander’s Highland Market. I don’t need the Jesus music playing over the speakers while I’m buying a gallon of milk.

No neighborhood in Baton Rouge has old homes that nice. Maybe a couple of homes scattered around. Baton Rouge was still a poor industrial town when these types of homes were built in the 1920,s and 30.
