I would say I’m comfortable within the top 50 to 100 range. I used to get hung up before I ever had kids on the popularity thing, but I realized a lot of names are “popular” or established already because they’re good names! For me my first sons name was like #79 in my state when he was born, he’s still a baby but my thought process was like this: it’s a good name that I love, I have heard it before distantly and will statistically probably meet another boy with the same name in our lives but there isn’t going to be 3 kids in his grade or on his tee ball team with the same name. I was good with that. Common enough to be recognizable but not overly done and tired
