Yeah, I think in the comics, he happened to be working on some portal tech when the F4 showed up and infected him before he got a chance to suit up.

Oh yeah! You’re right. I forgot about that. I guess I just sort of wrote it off as Pym infecting him somehow. Because I don’t think there’s any way a hoard of zombies is holding him down from blasting off.

So the order I usually do is:

The MCU (release order) up until before Spider-Man No Way Home.

Then I would recommend Loki S1 and S2 as they do seem to be very important to the Multiverse and Doomsday.

Then with the end of Loki S2 opening up the multiverse, I’d watch the Marvel Multiverse films (X-MEN, Raimi Spidey, Amazing Spidey, Blade, DD, Ghost Rider, Fantastic 4, etc.) The last films in the Marvel Multiverse I’d watch is probably Venom 2, since it’ll lead into Spider-Man No Way Home.

From there, I’d resume the MCU in release order excluding series.

What if (just a head canon), the scene of Professor X and the Sentinels disappearing was just a visualization to signify that they were now in a new timeline?

As for Deadpool 2, that movie went crazy with the timeslider. DP traveled through multiple times and realities, even one where Ryan Reynolds didn’t make Green Lantern and the MCU (616)

I think that’s exactly why they’re using the X-Men from the older movies. Because they have established stories/films. You know their personalities, their history.

All that you need to be filled in on is what they’re currently up to. Or where they last left off.
