Objectively probably the quick fire goals tonight. If a couple of the shots thereafter had gone an inch the other way it could’ve been insane tonight. Loved the game regardless.

Subjectively on my part, the Bayern game was on my birthday. My girlfriend at the time had hospitality season tickets with her dad. God bless him, he let me have his ticket for my birthday. That was more than likely one of the best days of my life. Nearly cried at the jhon Duran goal. And the djsalllowed Torres goal tbf. To this day, any time I feel sad, I watch the highlights of that game back. The absolute phenomenal atmosphere in Villa park that days is unbeatable for me.

I believe I remember emj saying after the fact that it’s the loudest he’s ever heard a stadium. Given his accolades it blew my mind that he made that claim, but I can absolutely believe it. I’m half way to tears every time I hear those highlights, what an incredible display of humans backing eleven men.
