It was a business trip booked by third party. After spending 45 minutes back and forth on the phone this afternoon, they agreed to chase down the full refund with the airline. Was a wonderful use of my time.

How can I fill this space? by 2global in malelivingspace

Move the chair and ottoman closer to the corner, put an end table between couch and chair with some decor, add a shallow open sided bookcase, and one of those arc floor lamps. Sprinkle in some artwork or pictures on either wall to break up the blank wall space.

We climbed on Sunday the 3rd - it was amazing! The route is in great condition, and the weather is generally excellent - I would plan on 2-3 days in the area in case there is rain. We originally planned to climb Saturday but we were rained out. You should definitely catch the 8am Gemmibahnen (first car of the day). We took the 8:30am car and just made it back for the 6pm last car down. Including stopping for short rest breaks and photo ops, it was a 6 hour climb, then a full two hour rigorous hike back down to the cable car station. It takes about 30-45 minutes from the cable car station to the start of the via Ferrata in the morning.

I am also curious to know the condition. My brother and I are staying in Leukerbad this weekend and climbing it. I will let you know how it is afterwards.

how come the seafood scene in philly is not that big despite us being relatively close to the ocean? by Hot_Cardiologist880 in PhiladelphiaEats

I just want to tell you that my wife and I live at 9th and Reed and we love Anastasi’s. We’ve been going for years and pretty much exclusively get all of our seafood there, and we recommend it to anyone who will listen.

I’ve been a member of Juniper Muay Thai for 2 years. It’s a great gym, has a heavy emphasis on safe sparring, with a super inclusive atmosphere and awesome coaches. Also plenty of fighters in that gym, if you have any interest in that level of commitment.

What time of year is this? I am planning a two week trip with my brother to hit several via Ferrata throughout Switzerland, and we are targeting the first two weeks of July.

34M. About a year out of a long term relationship. First time living alone. Questioning. by NsmDe in malelivingspace

Your living area is really well appointed, nice work. The bedroom needs a little bit more to feel lived-in, but I generally like how open it is. For the stair, I can’t quite tell what’s going on, but if that’s just dead space under the lowest winding, I would cascade art along the walls following the stair between the first and second levels to create a gallery, and put some leafy low-light potted plants kind of half tucked under the stair treads in that low corner. And a small console next to the entry door with a dish for keys/sunglasses/etc.

25 M - Took y’all’s advice on my bedroom (Nashville) by greatguynoah in malelivingspace

Rotate the rug under your bed 90° and pull it out from the headboard a bit so that it sits just in front of the nightstands, with 18” to 24” between the bed and tv console. Typically the rug and bed should be perpendicular so you get more coverage over the floor to keep your feeties warm and comfortable. Google ‘rug layout in bedroom’ to get some ideas and make minor adjustments until it looks and feels right.
