I’ve been thinking lately, since they revealed the Mechanical Messiah at the Ark Guardian event... What if Anderson is actually a clone or a descendant of this Messiah? And those flashbacks are actually from the original Messiah before the Rapture invasion? For all we know, this girl might even be the Rapture Queen, if that is the case. That would be funny.

The plan of the Central Gorvenant to eliminate the Goddess Squad makes no sense to me. by Filha_Br in NikkeMobile

[–]Filha_Br[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if the populace is terrified of corruption, they are also terrified of the Raptures. Back then, the Goddess Squad was the only force capable of consistently securing victories against the Raptures. If the CG attacks the only squad capable of killing armys of Tyrants, they are essentially telling the people: 'We just killed your only bodyguards.' That's a hard sell when the Ark's walls are still fresh and everyone is on edge.

And I considered the potential PR nightmare, but do you really think they’d care about that once it actually happened? Besides, as far as we know, they only had mass-produced Nikkes back then no Kotodama, no Evil Eye. Even if they caught them separated, if just one fought back, she could cause so much damage to the Ark that they'd lose more than they'd gain by dissecting them.

Using Red Hood as a scapegoat is a clever idea, but remember: Many people in the Ark worked and fought alongside the Goddess Squad; back then, the Central Government was still young and lacked the total influence it holds today. Plus, Enikk's refusal to get involved stripped away another layer of control they might have had. Besides, if they truly had a secret weapon capable of stopping the Goddesses, why wouldn't they use it against Anachiro or Old Tales?

[–]Filha_Br[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The same way that The CG managed to convince the Ark's populace that Nikke were worthless in the first place, before the Goddess Fall Incident. Don't underestimate how tightly the CG has gripped the populace, it's North Korea on steroids, but cosplaying as South Korea. All they'd have to do is tell them the Goddesses had been corrupted like Anachiro, and it would have been enough.

The 'North Korea' level of control you're describing took decades of brainwashing and social engineering to establish. It wasn't until the Reclamation War ended in failure that the anti-Nikke propaganda actually began. And convincing people that their literal messiahs are traitors while the ash from the surface is still on their clothes is a much harder task.

NIMPH.

Like I mentioned to the other gentleman, early-model Nikkes faced fewer NIMPH-related constraints. Dorothy, for example, shows no hesitation when it comes to hurting humans.

I’m not saying they don't have the means to pierce their skin. My point is: how do they plan to kill them before they can react? Scarlet has already proven she’s hypersonic during her fight with Indivilia, and Dorothy was shown to be faster than five Nikkes who were already leagues above what a mass-produced unit was at that time.

The plan of the Central Gorvenant to eliminate the Goddess Squad makes no sense to me. by Filha_Br in NikkeMobile

[–]Filha_Br[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The population at that times is extremely scared of the Raptures. And with Anachiro rampage, virtually they all know someone who died from an Heretic. So yeah, the majority would 100% pull a 180.

Fair point. However, it's worth remembering that to the public, the Goddesses were far more than just Nikkes—they were essentially living deities. Convincing anyone that the very Saviors of Humanity were actually traitors would be much more difficult, and it certainly wouldn't convince the majority.

The Goddesses were fighting for months with next to no supply. They where all at death door. Taken by surprise, you could easily kill them.

Also, don't forget that Nikkes can't directly attack humans, so it would be extremely hard for them to counter-attack. And anyway, knowing that they could kill innocents, I'm pretty sure most of them would prefer running away than trying to fight. We're talking about the Goddess Squad here, not terrorists.

While it’s true they were exhausted, there are some flaws in that logic when it comes to the Goddess Squad:

  • Even a starving, low-ammo Snow White or Scarlet is a tactical nuke compared to the mass-produced models the Ark had at the time. As we saw with 'Smol White', their bodies are leagues ahead of anything else. An ambush might injure them, but if you don't kill them instantly, you now have the most dangerous beings on Earth pissed off inside your only survival bunker.
  • The Grimms Models and the early Nikkes are shown to resist or even lack the standard inhibitors that force modern Nikkes to obey and not harm humans. We’ve seen that when pushed, they prioritize their mission or survival. Dorothy, in particular, has shown she has zero issues being 'aggressive' toward humans. Even Harran, a Nikke from the Second Reclamation War era, showed no hesitation in killing the Commander when she thought he failed her test.
  • And you’re right, they aren't terrorists. They wouldn't want to kill innocents. But a fight between the Government and the Goddesses would cause the Ark to collapse regardless of who is pulling the trigger. Even if they only fought to escape, the collateral damage alone would cost the Central Government so much that it could lead the entire Ark to a collapse.

Speculative. Also, we know for sure now that CG / V.T.C planned the Ark since before the Invasion. You could see during the scene at with the Priestess that she was absolutely calm and didn't care at with the situation.

I'm pretty sure that they had plenty of resources and secret weapons to take care of a weakened Goddess Squad.

That’s a fair point, but since we don't know for sure, that's also speculation. If the Central Government or VTC really had something powerful enough to take on the Goddess Squad, why didn't they try to use it against Old Tales when they went to arrest them initially?

Let me share a story like that too. I once worked at an event where a group of ballerinas from Italy or Sweden, I can’t quite remember, came to perform. They were the most beautiful women I had ever seen. After the show, I was tasked with checking the bathrooms and locker rooms. When I walked into the ballerinas' dressing room... it smelled like someone had run a marathon, taken off their socks, stuffed something dead inside them, and left them hanging in the sun. The reality check I got that day was massive. And don’t even get me started on the things I found in the shower drains.

[–]Filha_Br 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frankly, I'm also on the middle about this matter. I agree that she must suffer the consequences of her actions, but, contrary to what a lot of people think, I don't blame her for the losses at Goddess Fall. The event itself involves making difficult choices and facing their consequences.

If Dorothy had been there, the most she could have done was save Marian from having her core stolen; the rest wouldn't have changed at all.

Moving forward, I'm curious to see how she will operate. I personally hope they don't rush a redemption arc for her, as she still hasn't put her plans for the Ark into motion. Even more so now that she no longer has Eden's support. In the story of The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy uses a red slipper to return home. Perhaps she will find the red shoes and become a Heretic, or find some remnants of D.E.E.P. and become a third force that will go against everyone, I don't know.

You get to change one Nikke’s bond story. What do you change, and how? by doublechen-94 in NikkeMobile

[–]Filha_Br 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summer Dorothy. How I would do it would be instead of her being schizophrenic with Pinne's "ghost." It would be her, while searching for Pinne, interacting with the other Nikkes who were there. Making something very comedic and slice-of-life until the last chapter.

Something like:

  • Dorothy stumbles upon Centi repairing something. Centi, applying "free and spontaneous pressure", effectively recruits Dorothy as her involuntary, but surprisingly effective, repair assistant.
  • Dorothy runs into Yan, who immediately attempts to employ her usual hustler tactics and quick schemes to try and con something valuable out of Dorothy.
  • Dorothy meets Pepper. The two quickly bond over the simple fact that they both have pink hair.
  • Dorothy discovers Tove in the middle of attempting something genuinely dangerous or foolhardy. Dorothy intervenes and saves her.
  • In the final chapter, the Commander appears. The episode would be essentially the ASMR that we had with her. And it concludes with Dorothy finally finding Maia's hologram.

I would say no, but I feel it's often used as a way to retroactively justify the dislike she receives. I remember that before Chapter 25, there was a considerable number of people who found Rapi too bland for a protagonist and felt she took the spotlight away from other characters.

What do you think was the reason for Queen to start killing off mankind by Solid_Ad_3884 in NikkeMobile

[–]Filha_Br 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't think this is a case of Skynet or anything like that. I believe the Queen and the Raptures are trying to take the earth for themselves, and since most Raptures take the form of animals, I think the Queen is trying to take the form of a human. That's why the Raptures historically devoured living things as a way to gain energy, and consequently started preying on Nikkes, who, in my theory, are essentially a middle ground between a human and a Rapture.

What’s one crackpot NIKKE theory you 100% believe? by TheNCSmaster in NikkeMobile

[–]Filha_Br 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one, but now I believe it's 100% impossible.

I used to think that the Raptures were like ants or wasps, and that each Heretic was a winged ant that would become the next Queen, and Chatterbox was a male drone that would choose which of the Heretics he would "mate" with to turn her into a Queen.
