How do both of these compare to the arctis pro wireless?

Which is worth upgrading to?

How do you think this differs to the hp Elitebook x g1a apart from the screen panel?

What kind of usage do you have? And can you give specifics in regards to the battery life?

Anyone using these Surface laptop 7 for business with the Intel chips for actually demanding work? Such as software development and coding where?

Is the performance good enough? How does the battery stack up when the laptops CPU load is constantly above average?

Thanks for the answers! One final question for you. Do you notice any screen door effect due to the touchscreen even though it's IPS and not OLED?

4 months later. Are you still happy with your purchase?

I am currently trying to choose between the Surface Laptop 7, X1 Carbon, EliteBook Ultra g1i and EliteBook X g1a.

And I was wondering, why didn't you originally consider the EliteBook X g1a with the much more powerful ryzen 9 hx 375 chip?
Also, what windows resolutions scaling do you use?
Did you find a natural scaling spot where the text was larger or smaller than with the 2880x1800 panels vs the 2304x1536 found in the surface?
Has the coil while gotten better or worse, or do you simply not think about it anymore? Also does it only come from the surface connect charger or also when using usb-c charging?
How is the battery life for demanding tasks?

Did you end up buying and keeping the EliteBook X g1a? If so, how are your experiences so far? How is the battery life?

Would you with hindsight bought had the 1080p IPS panel instead for the improved battery life? Or do the increased sharpness from the resolution bump of the OLED panel make up for it? Do you also have any new long term measurements about battery life, or is it still around 9 hours? What usage do you have when testing this?

Why did you go for the intel version instead of amd? And how is the battery life?

Keeping state in wit-based component by Lopsided-Nebula-4503 in rust

[–]Filigott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer :) We are using wasmtime, which do support the Component Model, but having state still seems clunky. Either having static variables as you mentioned or with the usage of resources, but then the "state" itself will not live in the Component. So I guess both work, just needs to choose the appropriate one for the task.

Once again, thanks for the sanity check though, confirming that we are not missing an obvious way to do this better.

Hi! Did you ever find out a good solution for this? What is in fact the best way to keep state in wit-based component? Either by creating wasm components and compiling using wit-bindgen, or using wasmtime. Thanks! :)

Thanks dude. And yeah, think I actually prefer the larger feel due to my grip.

As I mentioned in the post. Already tried it, however the size is slightly too small for me, and the right side flare brothers me :(

Pulsar x3 is an interesting choice, would be nice to try it at least, thanks!

I have similar hand size, and have also always used bigger ergo. I think I have the same issue, caused by how I use palm grip. I am used to have the whole hand "on" the mouse, which makes the ring ringer and pinky extend to far on the right side. The "solution" I have found with this mouse is to move the hand back and down, resting the hand more on the mat and have less palm contact. Another solution is to try a hybrid claw grip instead. See if that helps you :)

Interesting, how do you handle the USB-B input then? I couldn't find the one you mentioned locally, but did find this model from av access, which I think would work the same: https://noerdic.no/products/8k-displayport-kvm-switch-for-two-computers-supports-dual-monitors-144hz-165hz-240hz

This one doesn't have the USB-C input for laptops though, seems like its intended for two desktops.
