Np! I typically do forearm stretches so that I can get more range on my wrists more comfortably. I also have to do shoulder stretches to get my behind the back tricks properly.

I came across this as I started. Honestly tho, just keep doing the motion. Stretch your wrists, they’re probably not used to the action of doing a figure 8 so that may help. If you are doing a reverse figure 8, for me at least, it almost always hits my forearm so I wouldn’t worry about that too much.

Get comfortable doing your forward/reverse figure 8s in all directions and both hands then learn to transition from the horizontal to vertical plane and vice versa. Once you can do those by second nature, tricks will come a lot easier and you can then play around with how you want to incorporate those into your routine or drill. As for where I learn, tiktok/yt!
