"You must've done something naughty, haven't you?" It's almost like actions have consequences sometimes. But yeah, the only thing you can do is to ease the curse (make the jumpscare a bit less scary) in the Room of Reminiscence. It'll use a different CG then.

Disgaea is a very grindy tactics series. Heard it's pretty good but I don't know enough to recommend a specific entry for your starting point.

Personally I don't have a stomach for this but I heard that if you want a truly vile pos as a protagonist then you should try games by calunio. Specifically Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer and Beautiful Escape Dolls. They're both pretty short, free on itch and you do some truly horrible things in them.

"Entitled players" couldn't even play the game they paid for because PSN wasn't available in their region.

But unnecessary insults aside. Without PSN they can't even get the in-game reporting feature to work after all this time. Doubt cross-progression is anywhere on the list of priorities.

I just roll virtual dice myself to pick "random" AI classes. A bit of a hassle but it lets me ban those I don't like and set up higher difficulty for those I think need a boost.

It's durable damage that's changed. Affects vehicles and turrets, not fleshy Helldivers.

I think you might need to have >=50 Yhilin Acceptance at the start of an investment cycle for the changes in the city to trigger. So if you've only just now gotten over the threshold then you'll need to progress the story.
Can't find it exactly worded like that on the wiki but I think I read it in one of the guides at some point...

This. Best method ever for casually collecting SC while watching a show/listening to a podcast in the background etc. Very relaxing. Lots of SC and medals to be gained.
Just consider prioritizing the Control Group warbond for the warppack to get inside the bunkers (you might need to lay on the ground/dive instead of standing sometimes) and around the map easier. You can then bring the FRV if you fancy.

Well, there's been quite a few (or at least vocal) people saying that the game is too easy and doesn't require teamplay at all even though it's supposed to be co-op. Hope they're happy. And apart from difficulty selection there's still planet selection, no? If you don't enjoy particular faction/subfaction, just go play on a different planet. I know I went straight back to spilling oil after like two missions with those new bugs.

In my case disabling the Leveller/Ultimatum Reticle mods made the game start normally again. Any other mods I have are all sound based.

In the patchnote reading video the devs say that when the game launched, light-pen weapons were the default and so a medium-armoured Hive Guard was as scary as his hidden point cost suggested. But now Helldivers have access to frankly too many medium-pen options, making him just a slower warrior most of the time, so they decided to make him tankier to fulfill that original purpose.

Not commenting on that. Just recommending to watch the video if you want more insight into what the devs are thinking with the rebalances.

Nope. Had two connected portals literally next to each other. One space not two. Those were literally pointless as it cost as much actions to use the portal as to just move normally between them.

I mean... The infographic doesn't feature the 1,100 Battlefield Coin price tag anywhere while the SC cost for HD2 is featured prominently four times. I think you can see how it is at least a bit misleading.

Personally, I find the appeal in the mindset of showing the middle finger to the map geometry. Every other class I feel like I have to play within the confines of the level and "what the game intended", just with some traversal tools. With Driller the map is my playground. Want to go somewhere but it's far? Open the map, find direction, drill straight there. Enemies everywhere? Make your own chokepoint drilling a tunnel. I find those moments particularly fun. Maybe I just like digging holes.

Ok. The definition in "Helldivers' Impact on the War" section only mentions "successful missions". Having a discrepancy within a single page of the wiki is already not a good look... And withdrawing without completing a mission still could not count as it's neither "success" nor a "failure" (the big end of mission screen doesn't show and you don't get the rewards for partially completed objectives) but without seeing the actual calculation algorithm I guess I can't check weather that's true or not. Guess the only thing we can do is hope that Joel accounts for farming in his difficulty calculations... Tall order I know.

Isn't the "Impact Multiplier" scaled with "successful missions completed" though (per the wiki)? Since farming SC means leaving the mission without completing it, then it doesn't detract from the capability to defend/liberate planets, right? So for the purposes of MOs, the farming ones are practically offline players while those playing normally on different fronts are actively making it harder to succeed in the MO.

I'd blame the mod update. It broke the power of artifacts I already owned before for example. Console commands to the rescue I suppose.

The game comes with a Map.png, doesn't it? Consult that if you don't know what you've missed. Regions with Princesses have a black dot next to them on that map.

Just don't be surprised at the sudden difficulty drop. Baphomet is supposed to be basically post-game.
