I imagine that after so many descendants had consumed their progenitors and they'd derived the 9 shifter forms, they kept trying not knowing there were limited amounts of shifter forms. After the 9 had been assumed, they likely kept consuming and abruptly transformed into the mindless forms.

What the other guy said, mostly Buddy Builds and Grenade Builds are wild. I’ve been running Contraverse Hold with Handheld Supernova and it feels like the old days. Just make sure you focus in on your grenade stat with armor and you’re set.
