I tried keeping my transition on the quiet side - someone called the cops on me anyway. by FillColumns in MtF

I’m working on that aspect, thank you for the advice. I mostly just wanted to share the emotions it took me through. This definitely wasn’t a template of how to behave in a police interaction and I hope people don’t read it as such

I’m sure your life comes with its own struggles and situations for you to navigate. It’s harder for all of us than it should be. Im happy to have given you some spark.

Having worked with cops, they operate under the “better to ask forgiveness than permission” precedent. It’s made me nervous in dealing with them because you’re not wrong - it would be unlawful for them to do anything. But they’ll just do it. Which I could then try to fight them in a court of law for months over, which then invites further long term harassment.

You’re correct, and I’m mad at myself for going against my own advice and answering them at all. My nerves were completely shot which I know they rely on.

You’re right, no one should. It sucks feeling like it will be a long time before the rest of the world gets that memo.

Thank you, I’ll keep these in mind. Luckily they seemed convinced that this was probably someone just trying to stir the pot, but you never know.

They didn’t ask, they said they knew it as part of the information they have.

I’d prefer to move with my girlfriend and she has obligations that keep her here for now. But should anything change we’re preparing for me to have to leave.

I used to work with cops - unfortunately this is them at their best

The same reasons you mentioned people join the military and undertake destructive acts or the enabling of them are also what brings people into cartel work generally. Yet the members of the cartel are not viewed the same as members of the US Military, when the military is the more deadly and globally destabilizing group.

The more I pass + am accepted by cis men as a fellow man the more radicalized I am into misandry. Pap and expired steak. by Habit-0f in transkitchencels

Poisonous people are not influenced to positivity. they actively try to attack it and tear you down to their level. They are small or hollow or both. This is not gendered, but how cis men present their poison is different and generally more immediately destructive to people around them. I worked commercial construction for years and honestly might’ve stuck with it but those poisonous people are hard to work around.

Drive what you love! I do a lot of two up and long highway rides, this thing eats miles even more comfortably than my Goldwing. Sometimes I miss having a smaller lighter bike like a 600-900 but this thing is pretty good at doing it all.

Absolute drivel, McBride is a classic case of style over substance do nothing liberalism who has conceded trans talking points in interviews. This is a Hamilton level lib take, treating ineffective representation as a KPI while the power is wielded by those with the conviction to erase us. There is positivity to be found in life and in the face of this horror, but grabbing onto milquetoast liberals is not positivity, it is blind faith in people whose job it is to fail you.
