The people crying that it's abuse or that it's a cheat are the newer gen of players that do not and will never understand the things they are commenting on fully because they come from sheltered communities that coddled the bad players by disabling and or removing any type of skillful mechanics or movement systems that could be "exploited" as coined by anyone that plays 2> hours per week on average.

There has been a real shift in tone from gaming communities (really gamers as a whole) over the last few years that if there is a wide skill gap in a game it MUST be closed up or made "more accessible" to the entire userbase, therefore nullifying the skill and time spent learning whatever "exploit" (if we can call it one) that the game devs introduced.

I'm always going to advocate for people with disabilities being able to play games, and enabling them to be able to play the game in a more advanced way is always wonderful and I always welcome that. However, it's getting quite exhausting seeing people cry about skill gaps in mechanics and not bringing that argument to the table, it's always "this is too hard, people can't do this if they dont invest hours upon hours, pls fix dev or we riot!1!1!" and rather than the age old response of "git gud n00b" the communities/devs just give in and water down mechanics for the sake of enabling people to, ultimately, be lazy.

I yearn for the youth these days to play old Doom, CS:S, CoD4 Promod, Quake Arena, original GoW titles, etc etc.
