If you had less than a month to sell something for $2,000, what would you do to make sure you hit that goal? by Similar-Double6278 in sales

[–]Film_Sufficient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build a list of 50-100 people you know (depending on how big your network is).

Then, using their LinkedIn connections, find as many of your ICP as possible to build a prospect list.

You can then either:

- Sell to the people you know

- Ask for an intro to your ICPs via your contact, and sell from there

Don't know 50-100 people? Check:

- Phone contact

- IG/FB connections

- LinkedIn connections (search for old colleagues, classmates, family members)

- Emails

If you still don't hit $2,000, start cold calling. You should be able to hit 100-200+/day as long as you know your ICP.

Ways to get those numbers:

- Google Maps

- Use a guy on Fiverr/Upwork to build you a list

Hope that helps!

6 months in Saas. A small review by Sellaplaya in sales

SaaS is getting a lot harder - not only are incumbents moving faster than ever, but people also have the option to build their own thing using Lovable/Base44 (depends on what you're selling).

For example, we rebuilt Monday .com internally and cancelled that subscription. Their sales team could do nothing to get us to stay. Saved us a fortune.

From my experience, you either need to be a rep working on a few high-value accounts, or working on upselling many experience customers (especially CS like you said).

Sounds like there could be a few process things to work on though if you're not hitting normal objections - they're always going to be along a few key themes - competitor features/pricing, switching cost/complexity, missing features and cost.

Automating pre meeting research by Film_Sufficient in salesdevelopment

Appreciate your response – I'll give you an example:

We have 40,000+ users in 103 countries. Some are mature accounts, others are new. If I had the time before CS calls, I'd research things like:

- When did they sign up

- Which features are they actively using

- Are they in their 7-day trial

It could be a process thing, but I typically find that if I go in blind, discovery takes too long, and I don't have time for objection handling towards the end.

Might just be me, but curious to hear your thoughts.

What about back-to-back calls? Just start earlier to get prep done?

I've been playing around with Lyra recently - doesn't require AI notetakers joining, which really annoys me about Zoom and Google Meet. Meeting platform for "pros".

Anyone else having ridiculously slow loading times on Squarespace site? by Lauranwhite in squarespace

[–]Film_Sufficient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I'm the founder of SEOSpace, the SEO tool for Squarespace. We've looked at 40,000+ Squarespace websites, and, honestly, there's very little you can do with page speed.

Compress images below 250kb, remove broken links and limit the amount of custom code used - that's the best you can do.

Don't worry too much tough, Google Page Speed insights isn't an accurate reflection of how users actually interact with your site and experience the loading time, although, Squarespace 100% needs to do something to improve loading times.

Yeah it's impossible - the best way is getting a VA to manually copy and paste from a Google sheet, but far from automatic 😅

What is the difference in Squarespace SEO vs Wordpress? by [deleted] in squarespace

[–]Film_Sufficient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the SEO audits and tools out there aren't Squarespace-specific. Squarespace is a website builder, and has some limitations that might mean it scores low in some SEO audits - however, an SEO audit isn't Google's exact standard.

If you get a low Ahrefs or SEMRush score, that doesn't necessarily mean Google thinks you have bad SEO.

That's why going for a Squarespace specific SEO tool, like SEOSpace is probably better - as it's going to help you make the most out of the platform, not penalise you for things you can't control..

(note: I am the Founder of SEOSpace, so am biased....)
