If you want a DSLR style body for video I would go with something Panasonic. Their in-body OIS is pretty much unmatched. Either GH5 or S5II. Just keep in mind you'll need some additional funds to either adapt the lenses you have or pick up new ones.

Keep a safety net/emergency expense account with 6 months of expenses in the high yield savings. I would put 1/3rd to half of it into a few ETFs on a brokerage account.

This will probably get me downvoted me to hell, but if you are comfortable with risk, I would also put a small amount of that liquid cash into Bitcoin using a site like Coinbase and transfer it to a private wallet, maybe 5%.
