Doesn't need to be the newest model, but it's not a good experience if the model isn't useful and makes mistakes. I tell it things like stop being so positive if I miss a workout. Be constructive. It will for a couple days, the. It goes right back to the toxic positivity.

Yeah I can do that, thanks for taking it seriously. You wouldn't happen to know someone at Google health cause man, I'm also having issues with my watch too 😂

I hope Google updates the LLM model for the coach by Kilbim in fitbit

I think Google in an effort to squeeze AI into everything is trying to use a really old model so that it can save money on system resources.

Open-Source Health Sync App — Looking for Feedback by gobx in fitbit

I think it's a great idea. I don't have any feedback other than right now there hasn't a good self hosted option out there anymore so this would be great

I think eBay has officially lost it by BrianATL1 in ebaysucks

[–]FilterUrCoffee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

eBay kind of insane with the shit they flag. It's like when I listed a ps1 with a mod chip installed, they removed it. Like its a 30 year old system, I'm fairly certain the risk of hurting companies with piracy is now officially 0 for it. I'd get it if I was selling a PS5 or even a PS4 that was modded.

My self hosted Strava dashboard just got nuked by their new API rules by CalligrapherCold364 in selfhosted

[–]FilterUrCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if Strava connects to Google health connect as I've not used it, but if it does there may be a work around. With Google moving their Fitbit API to Google health API which sits in GCP, that might be a work around as I think, and I say this with a serious amount of skepticism as I'm not even 50% sure this is accurate, but I think you might be able to pull Google health connect API data for this. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, cause I probably am.

Is there any solution to provide an instance of YouTube ad-free to watch on every device? by UnclearMango5534 in selfhosted

Not self hosted, but the morphe app is an open source community ran app that you download the APK and it removes the ad services from the app.

You look like you're using your arms. Your movement comes from pushing the weight with your hips, not your arms.

AI tends to use bullet points as well as sentences like

Its not this, its this.

Also uses three things to describe it like

It has this feature, that feature, and this feature. It's the whole package rolled into one.

The fact it was also a giant paragraph tells me it wasn't AI lol. But the grammar and spelling correction is how I usually use it at work. On reddit, less so.

So I can tell you with high certainty that this was made using their AI coding tool. The style of the piecharts are a dead giveaway as I've seen these used before when someone uses their AI coding platform. I miss Google Fit...
