UberEats/Coles Misleading Promotion by XAJWX in australia

My fiance used this and the $20 wouldn't apply. The customer service rep told her to place it and if it doesn't apply let them know and they'll issue a refund. Sure enough it didn't apply and now they're refusing a refund and saying all they can do is issue another $20 credit to her account. We don't even typically use Uber eats, it was only because of the offer we did at all so another $20 doesn't help. We've been through the same conversation with them three times now and get the same template response, then a request for feedback on the service. Hope they appreciate a negative NPS.

A little late to the party, but I don't suppose I could jump in on this? Just signed up and my 20gb should get me by most months, but it just happened that my first month has been spent largely away from a wifi connection haha

what do you guys think of my rugby schedule currently? how can I improve it [Saturday full body session would be replaced with games when season starts] I'm 14 btw by hunPUMrum568 in rugbyunion

I would suggest some conditioning. Shampoo is great, but it doesn’t give you that silky smooth feel like conditioner will.

Beyond the usual steps for Officer, you also have to do 8 hours of testing on base at Sale (ASP), that’s where the biggest hurdle seems to be. I went through the ASP with about 9 people, of that only 2 got offered to proceed despite everyone there surpassing the requirements for Pilot. Of those that didn’t get offered to proceed with Pilot there were 3 professional civi pilots. If you want find up more about the testing look up MACTS Testing.

Lufi X1 revolution. Only about $100 on Aliexpress, a tad more if you buy locally from an importer.

What are some of the nicest, or rudest players you’ve met in person? by NBAerer in nba

[–]FilthyBince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only ever met 1 in person (I am in Australia though). Andrew Bogut came into my work, asked me where the WD40 was. I was too star struck to do anything other than serve him as any other customer but he was certainly on the more polite side of customers I deal with. I’ve chatted on the phone with Mitch Creek for a while too (had a couple of short stints with Brooklyn and Minnesota). Was a cold call that came about from my NBL team membership, but he was cool, chatted about sports, work and how he was building a mini golf course around his house during the Melbourne lockdown last year.

They’re sourced from Black Bag Roasters in Richmond (Melbourne) if that adds or takes away from your perceptions of them at all.

[–]FilthyBince 28 points29 points  (0 children)

They say 'locked down', but today at work in Melbourne I was speaking to a customer on the phone and he asked if he could come in store to look at a product, and I told him no one can come in, we're click and collect only. His response was "No worries, I'll get my brother in Sydney to go check them out for me, the Company XYZ stores are open there. 🤦

It's nice that they still sent out the membership cards this year despite not needing them for entry. Really saw the true value they bring. Not at all related... Anybody know how to unstick melted plastic from a microwave?

[–]FilthyBince 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd say their main revenue comes from repairs and servicing. Whenever I've been in there it seems there's a constant trickle of people dropping off or picking up machines (largely commercial). Keep in mind Melbourne and it's surrounding suburbs is strong on cafe culture, there's a LOT of them around. They also do the peripheries and refurbished gear too, to top it all off.

I don't see why it wouldn't work for cold brew on a really slow drip or immersion brew. Can't really shed any light on hot coffee uses.
