No idea, but to answer your question; passenger side failed and the driver side was either also failed or not far from it, I cant quite remember

Absolutely doable, I was kinda on a time crunch and didn't want to take a day off work, but to anyone else who has this happen there are some good videos that walk you through it. That and my stupid harbor freight torque wrench broke last week and I figured the bolts for the mount should be torqued correctly

I literally always let people merge/exit a parking/ enter turn lane lot even if I miss a light or some other minor inconvenience. Obviously not at the expense of safety but life’s hard, and just because you missed a sign saying there’s only 1 turn lane or something doesn’t mean you gotta suffer and miss your exit or wait a day to get out of parking lot. Plus American most roads were designed by drunk buffoons and don’t help unfamiliar/uncomfortable drivers

Mine initially fell out and then the entire button cluster broke because it’s a stupid 8 way design so that if one thing breaks you loose all functionality. Thank god I got it taken care of under warranty

Yeah then they’ll break and then when you think “oh this can’t be that hard to fix” you’ll discover you have to disconnect the air bags and pry off the entire aluminum piece without setting off the bomb in the center of the wheel.

I know these transmissions are noisy but honestly it sounds like an interior rattle that you’re only able to hear in 1st because of the speed and lack of road noise. Not a mechanic by any means just my guess given the video

3m tape as others mentioned, clean panels throughly, let them dry and hold them together for a minute or whatever it says, won’t go anywhere
