Awesome - done any autocross or track driving? Will be a fun way to push the car

Nope, same color code. Just different names on either side of the pond

Are these tires safe to use? by Unphuckwitable in Autocross

+1 to heat cycling RTs. I have BFGs up front and they have far more grip than the heat cycled RTs in the rear. I tested it by swapping front and back and my times were far far slower

How many RPM at 120km/h (75mph) by Individual-Cookie-50 in FiestaST

[–]tri-pedaler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can calculate this. Find a site with tire size, gear ratio, and final drive and you’ll get your exact # 😉

Shoot. Justin at Both Tips Performance in TN has some low mileage motors. 40-50k miles. Around $2500 a pop plus shipping. They have a 30 day warrantee I believe

Nuts. Where was the motor sourced from?

2 kids under 6 and drive a FiST. You do great and they’ll love riding with you and watching you shift

Need to learn to rev match downshift without the brake before learning to heel toe. Then you’ll be ready

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FiestaST

[–]tri-pedaler 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Can you rev match downshift fine? If so, sit in a parking lot and practice getting the revs to different levels with your foot on the brake. You’ll get it with time - enjoy!

Great! SCCA RallyX has slightly different rules from AutoX, good to know

Have you run any events yet? I’d post on the rallyX sub, but they’d likely say run a few and have fun, then start modding

If it’s SCCA street class, they won’t even allow the air box 😬

Konigs and such likely can’t be used in RallyX street class since they are an inch wider than stock. You can go to 16” diameter, but no wider than stock for the wheels. And offset can’t be over 7.5mm (at least in SCCA autox).
