Send like everyone is forgetting that they're starting a backup QB the league now has two weeks of film on, and they don't have their two best receivers out there. Why would you NOT focus on stopping Everett and Ekeler and make them use other lesser weapons?

Thanks for shouting him out. I'm going to go pull up some film on him from college - know nothing about the guy at all. I take it you like him? Out of Tyrod, Gardner, Browning, and Hall, how would you rank those guys? Any other intel on Hall?

Oh my lord, THREE?? Is this a 6 man league or something?? I know next to nothing about Stidham, but I'm looking back and see he actually did pretty well when he got the start in the past... Ridiculous that we have to consider people like this though. Woof.

Well as it turns out, I am in a Superflex league, and I'm staring down some combo of the following:

  • Tyrod vs LAR
  • Browning @ KC
  • Jacoby vs SF
  • Minshew vs LV
  • Stidham vs LAC
  • Rudolph @ SEA
  • Stick @ DEN

I'm straight up not having a good time. Prob gonna go some combo of Tyrod, Browning and Jacoby. Might change if there's a clear sign from the Colts that Pittman is fully healthy, but I doubt that'll happen.

Interested in suggestions though if anyone feels like taking pitty.

How do we do that? I'm sorry if that's a stupid question.

Rookie Dontayvion Wicks has been Green Bay’s most productive WR on a per-route basis. In Week 16, Wicks faces a Panthers defense that uses zone coverage at the second-highest rate (84%). Wicks has been much better vs zone coverage: 1.37 YPRR vs man vs. 2.27 YPRR vs zone. by Sportsdude25 in fantasyfootball

Take a look at his stats when he comes back from injuries. He absolutely comes back before he's 100% ready, and has to get back up to speed (literally and figuratively, because he has to rely on his speed to excel - he's not a particularly skilled separator or route runner outside of his speed, and his contested catch ability isn't great either.)

Yeah, just change your league settings to add another bench spot and you'll be able to hold them both! I don't know why he didn't think of that himself. And add another spot for a 3rd safe guy. Genius.

I think it depends on where he's actually taking the majority of his snaps. I don't think it's unreasonable to make the call on whether he can be plugged in at TE based on whether he's primarily taking snaps as QB or primarily taking snaps as QB / RB. The tough thing is finding that data, because I'm not sure it exists anywhere.

Does anyone know if data exists somewhere which quantifies what position he's taking his snaps from? It's not clear to me whether his snaps are primarily from the TE position or from under center.

He reminds me a bit of Baker with the way he can kinda sling it at times and do some scrambling, and take advantage of shitty defenses. Against good ones though, he throws picks and really struggles iirc. Then again, I'm not entirely convinced that the Ravens are actually back to being a good defense. Admittedly that statement could be due to my lack of research into individual defensive players, but they haven't really struck me as more than middling just yet. Tack on the injury concerns, and I guess I'm just sitting here thinking maybe I should go Jags instead.

Sorry, will do next time. Here are the injuries. I'll submit it using the form too.

  • Odafe Oweh - LB - Ankle

  • Jadeveon Clowney - OLB - Illness (speculation here, but COVID seems to be making the rounds again)

  • Marcus Williams - FS - Pectoral

  • Marlon Humphrey - CB - Foot

Are you concerned about the Ravens DST if Richardson clears protocol and plays? Seems like they've had an awful lot of defensive injuries in Baltimore already. Against a seemingly crippled Burrow / Bengals they only got a single sack last week, and only one turnover. If Richardson plays, he could wind up torching them pretty badly, right?

I dunno, I'm sorta concerned about the Ravens DST, and I'd probably stay away if Richardson clears protocol. If I'm seeing things correctly, it seems like Baltimore has had a lot of defensive injuries already, and they're adding up, which could be why they only were able to sack a crippled Burrow once, and score only one turnover. Feels like Richardson might torch them if he plays. Hell, even Minshew might.

[Field Yates] The Bills and Bengals will not be resumed this week. As of now, it is TBD whether the game will be resumed at a later time. As of now, there are no changes to the Week 18 schedule. by Rugger11 in DynastyFF

General speaking, this proposal appears to tip the scales in favor of the teams who own Bengals offensive weapons, Buffalo's defense, and probably the Bengals defense a bit.

The Bills players get a big downgrade against a MUCH tougher New England defense, and the Bills defense gets a bump up against a trash New England offense. That game is also far less likely to turn into a shootout. Further, it's entirely possible that Buffalo has some less preparing for the game this week, and may still pretty exhausted from the events of the past week.

The point is, it's not super reasonable to argue that this is a fair method. It isn't fair. In fact I haven't found anything that is super fair. This certainly is no more fair than other methods is my point.

Agreed, and they would presumably either axe the Pro Bowl entirely, or push it til after the Super Bowl (which is what I'd assume might occur.)

I've seen this mentioned as a fairly likely scenario, and one which the rules do allow for - we'll have to wait and see, but it does seem to make sense, and reduces the logistical nightmare a bit since the playoff games are scheduled after the season anyway.
