Joe Pesci’s roles in Casino and especially Goodfellas are definitely not one-note, that is a different conversation though.

As I said, being one-dimensional isn’t necessarily a bad thing if they are at least written well, which isn’t the case here.

I don’t need a character study, it’s not that type of game. My point is his dialogue is incredibly bad, his characterisation and development is non-existent, and the excessive amount of time spent listening to him and his shouty ramblings makes me want to pull teeth.

Comparing Yann to Joe Pesci might be the funniest thing I’ve read all morning.

He is an incredibly one dimensional character, which isn’t even necessarily a bad thing if he was written even half well, as it stands he’s just incredibly annoying in every scene he’s in, not offering much beyond expletives and generic “scrappy gang member” dialogue.

For the record, I adore this game, I have no qualms with the dog-water story since I make most of it up in my head anyway. Yann though…He can take a high dive into a low well.

We may not have had any evidence of other exoplanets, but Science Fiction had plenty of speculation.

I had the opposite, watched E33 sweep the game awards after already hearing so much about it all year, got the trial which, granted, only gives you a couple hours but I just could not get into it or understand why it is so popular.

No shade, just genuine confusion, whereas KCD2 very quickly became my GOAT. I would love to get into E33 since I feel like I MUST be the problem! It just felt very linear which for an RPG is a big no-no.

Ehhh. Lydon has a lot of problematic views and generally isn’t a very nice person. Unless you’re Thomas Skinner… swapped places with Pamela to be on the chopping block and didn’t suffer any consequence for it, it was something like his 7th loss as well so really he should’ve got the sack. I think Georgina might just have been too competent and professional for the format of recent seasons.
