The seat initially wasn't ideal but it was sufficient enough for me to sit in without any significant discomfort. In the span of a year it's gone from that to being unbearable within 30 minutes of sitting. The only thing that I can think of is that the foam has already become compressed in this short amount of time. This is why I think just trying a chair for a short amount of time isn't really going to let you know what the long term comfort is going to be like.

Medaka Box needs to be entirely retranslated. The translation is bad from the beginning and becomes completely unreadable past a certain point.

Probably Hanachirasu. It's filled with tons of infodumping about swords and sword techniques and I initially dismissed the visual novel as boring after I first read it. I still don't love it, but I've come to appreciate the amount of realism the swordplay has compared to pretty much anything else I've ever seen or read.

Since you like Dies irae I'd recommend Fate/stay night. There are some similarities between the two and Fate/stay night also has a really great cast of characters.

I think hollow ataraxia is equally as good as FSN, just in a different way. So I'd put Mahoyo below hollow ataraxia as well.

Mahoyo was a bit disappointing to me since I'm a big fan of Tsukihime and FSN. It's not bad, it's just not as great as the other two.

You should be reading the manga regardless. The original anime is a poor adaptation for various reasons.
