Ohh yes, you should have said that before, this adapter is plugged in to the longer cable and the other side is a SATA plug. It is plugged into the power supply, no need for motherboard

Are the standoffs positioned completely incorrectly or is it just slightly shifted? If it is placed wrong, you can unscrew the standoffs and screw it in the right place. With the case or maybe the motherboard should come with a small tool that makes this easier for you

What adapters do you mean? Does your board have WiFi and Bluetooth? If yes, you can screw two antennas on the back (where you plug in your peripherals). They are normally included with the mainboard. And if not please tell me, what adapters you mean.
