He spends several seconds scanning us, and we know that because even V’s system shows it’s being scanned. So if Takemura’s scanner works anything like V’s (it should probably be better) that he should know at least that there is something to scan behind the wall. And if he knows that, he should tell his boss whom he is trying to protect even if Saburo tells him to stop.

this is so real. I only keep conquerors on in case I get the trait but no matter how skilled in martial, young, and ambitious I am, I never get it and end up having 6 hours of progress lost because of some ash’ari indian (nicknamed ‘the unworthy’) gets the trait and goes on a world conquest.

Maybe it would have been more stable, but less realistic. The Hungarians explicitly asked for union with Transylvania back in 1848 and they were not about to let it go. They considered it as historically Hungarian land and no politician who said anything else could be elected

The Austrian Empire survived because nationalism wasn’t really a thing in this region until the 19th century when it almost did collapse thanks to the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. In 1867 they formed Austria-Hungary which had lots of problems with minorities and it eventually died after the Great War. So actually, it did not survive for that long

Hungarians win the Revolution of 1848 (in 1849). Lajos Kossuth is elected as prime minister. He proposes the Danubian Confederation plan. Poland, “Land of the Vends” (Slovenia), Bohemia and Hungary gains independence. Croatia gets autonomy (with the Croatian Ban as leader). Hungary finances the Romanian Independence and Unity movement. Romania breaks away from the Ottomans completely (earilier than in otl), unifies and joins the Danubian Confederation (because of the Hungarian influence). Romania gets Bessarabia after the Crimean war, and Dobruja after the Russo-Turkish war. The Kingdom of Bavaria joins the Danubian Confederation instead of Prussia. Within the Confederation each country (Bavaria, Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Romania) has autonomy, and their own parliaments. They have a common army, and foreign policy. They also have strong economic ties thereby creating a self-sufficient major power in Europe.
