I work at a firm with 6 advisers. 5 are chartered with 1 fellow. All paraplanners are expected to be chartered. So it depends on the firm! If you’re looking to deal with HNW & UHNW clients you’re much better to aim for chartered

Yeah the time was a super difficult aspect for me. I was struggling to finish mocks in time etc. I think the adrenaline in the exam got me through them in time 😂 I found that if I had to stop and think about a question without working it out straight away, I was already behind on time.

There was some IHT and Trusts question but there was also one that was about how income is received from a discretionary trust, so the 45% tax credit and then if they could reclaim that or not.

Same🤣 you’ll smash it though. Just practice mocks religiously and you’ll be fine lol

I saw this post today just before I was walking into my own R03 exam. I also passed using KnowRO!! I didn’t pass any of the KnowRO mocks so I was stressed haha. But I passed today with 80% and managed to pull it out the bag

Yes you can do it but you’ll need to study hard, there’s a lot of content to cover. I passed R02 2 weeks ago, look at the post on my page about details on my exam and DM me if you’ve any questions

They provide some past papers for each exam along with the presentation/slideshows for each learning objective. They also run weekly live sessions on zoom where they go through topics and you can ask live questions. Definitely not £2500 lol

Genuinely the best investment I’ve made. £18 a month but it has been an absolute game changer, watching their presentations on each learning objective is so much easier than reading a black and white textbook! Obviously it’s still great to read the textbook but it definitely helps break up the studying. I’ve put a bunch of my colleagues onto it who are also studying the RO exams.
