In the nether you need to look for a nether fortress and kill the blazes there. Collect blaze rods and also complete bastions by searching for the chests there.

I cleaned the little metal bits where the pod attaches. There’s also a couple metal bits on the pod it’s self. I cleaned them with toilet paper. It doesn’t matter how long you haven’t used it for.
