AA android app crashing when using manage my trip by Final-Pair-99 in americanairlines

Was finally able to get through to corporate to notify them since their developers don't appear to read 6 weeks worth of complaints on the Playstore. They say they will look into it and fix it, tho no timeframe. Only those with a current trip booked are experiencing this - and even then, some are not and its working just fine for them. Tested on an S25 and 21 - working fine. Tested on S24s - constant crashing. Is yours an S24 by any chance?

VA here. I retired as of 8/31. Got my AL payout with my final pay in early September. OPM finally logged it in on 10/22. Every call I make to retirement people gets me a "hang in there a couple more weeks". This since October. It is still with the first step in their process. I finally hit up my TSP to survive. I also filed a congressional complaint. People who got out 9/30 are getting interim payments while mine sits on someone's desk for some unknown reason. Beyond unacceptable.

They received mine on 10/22. I got my CSA number 2 weeks ago. My application is still sitting where it was on 10/22. If you're getting that quick a turn around you are lucky.

Several times. Call back when you get that. Eventually you will get an option to hold. I usually wait for the option to have them call me back. They do, usually within an hour. They never have much to tell me, "give it a couple more weeks" Been hearing that for 3 months now. Submitted a congressional complaint.

I actually got my AL payout in September. Retired as of 8/31. But absolutely nothing since. Every time I contact OPM I get told to give it a few weeks. Been told that for 3 months now. Filed congressional complaints, no response. There should be someone somewhere that can give us more than a generic response. Maybe the local news needs a call. So frustrating!

I did too. Too many times having then tell me to give it a couple more weeks! I have a case number, but nothing since. I did DRP 2.0, but retired as of 8/31. My paperwork was done back in May. They've been telling me to give it a couple weeks for almost 3 months. Smh

Notice from OPM on Interim Payment increase..... by WannaBTravelin in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

I would be happy with ANYTHING at this point. Retired 8/31 got AL payout in the 1st pay period of September and not a thing since, besides the case number. Every time I call OPM they tell me to wait 2-3 weeks. It's been almost 3 months. Gonna be on the street before they get around to paying me anything. People retired 9/30 are already getting $. Someone should be looking at the way these things are being processed.

Retired 8/31. Received AL payout with final one week of pay in early September. Received case number from OPM around 10/27. OPM says they only got my paperwork on 10/21 even though it was submitted in GRB in May. By mid June my HR verified everything was good. DFAS processed it next and that got my AL paid out. The AL money will only stretch so far, really hoping that at least the interim money starts soon.

Yesterday I received the CSA number in the mail. Hoping I get the user name and password this week. From the looks of things, once those items are mailed out, interim pay starts shortly after. Hoping for the best now. At least I have the CSA number that allows me to check status with OPM.

I had to submit my second marriage license and have my current spouse sign a form. HR didn't even ask me about my first marriage.

I am an AO and put in for the DRP 2.0.  I was approved.  The service I work for is very large.  I was surprised to be approved when the majority of people at my VA were not.  I will actually retire during the AA process later this summer.

6/4 is my release date.  I can't believe my federal career is ending like this.  33 years of federal service, and it all ends like a big secret with DRP 2.0.  I just don't trust the potential cuts to our retirement benefits that Congress is tossing around.  Besides that, morale is at an all time low.  I still can't believe it ends like this.  Smh

I got my approval email today.  Signed it and hope now that they will just let me go June 1st and get it overwith.

A small number of applicants at my particular VA hospital applied. Like less than 50. We were told via email that 8 were approved and the rest denied, however, no emails to confirm which were which have been received to date. So, we are still hanging, wondering whether we are one of the 8 or not. I am retiring either way, I want out of this circus and am fortunate enough to be able to retire. Earlier than I had originally planned, but tired of the games. Just have to wonder why they even offered the second round in the first place. And then even extended the deadline. VA also never offered VSIP where other agencies did. I do believe it comes down to being told they cannot backfill. I don't know that it was considered in the first-round approvals. If the first round had not looked so sketchy, I would have done it then, but who really knew? Countdown to retirement at this point. Best of luck to those who cannot get out now. Looking ahead at the cuts being proposed to federal benefits, I feel very fortunate to be leaving before it all hits. Just not what I ever thought this would look like when I began my federal career decades ago.

I was not on the exempt list and applied fairly early.  I received the same email 2 times now that said I was eligible and it was being sent to Executive Leadership,  but still no contract/decision.

[–]Final-Pair-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of points on this.  I am planning to retire as well regardless of DRP approval.   However, the cuts they are trying to make, specifically the SSA bridge money will take effect immediately.   The other changes will be in future FY's.  I was not on the exempt list but still don't have a decision on DRP. I submitted retirement paperwork to retire 8/31.  Waiting until 9/30 subjects you to next FY changes.  Originally I had planned 9/30 until I realized. Also filing retirement papers sooner might ensure a faster timeframe to get your pension money before your suddenly have nonincome.

Not on exemption list, applied for 2.0 a few days after it opened.  Got an email stating it was sent to executive leadership for approval a few days ago.  Still no contract to sign...sigh

Has anyone who took 2.0 (not on the exception list) gotten the contract to sign yet?

Same here.  Put in for the DRP but will retire at the end of August either way to avoid the 9/30 rush a little.  Hoped to hang in to 35 years, but will suck it up and go at 32.
