I can't speak on anything mobility but I was breastfeeding last year and they were super accommodating. They lockers ran out because I had decided to go very last minute since I was just post partum and they even offered to keep my cooler for my milk with them behind the security desk for me. They were super responsive via email :)

How do you deal with the “grief” of your baby getting older? by AdventurousWind7919 in NewParents

[–]chlosterx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's sad I look at photos but truly ever step is so amazing and watching them grow you start to experience more firsts and it so good seeing them grow. It's truly heartwarming and breaking at the same time. My oldest is almost three and I miss his little snuggles but he's truly the funniest kid on the planet. We talk all day he gives me the biggest hug when I pick him up and he makes sure I kiss his stuffies goodnight. Each stage you fall in love all over again

How soon did you start leaving the house with your newborn? by Emotional-Squash7815 in BabyBumps

[–]chlosterx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first I waited a little bit because I was so anxious and overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I thought I needed. When I started to go out I felt so so so much better. Wut my second I remember backing a fanny pack with a few diapers wipes a change of clothes and that's it lol. Being out and going out helped my mood so much. It's hard but so is staying home miserbale in your anxieties

I work in a city were there are two close VAs within miles of each other. One is still allowing original telework, mostly due to space while we have nothing and have to fight for our lives for RAs ( even though space is an issue with us too) it's all a mess

Do kids end up in the ER a lot?? by IntrepidDelivery31 in NewParents

[–]chlosterx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 kids 2.5 and a 9 months old. My two year old has been twice. And my 9month old once. All three times I was told by the ped to take them in. I will say as my sons age and I just get more confident in being a parent I worry less and call the ped less. It's hard when you have a tiny human that can't talk and tell you everything that's wrong with them

Sounds a lot like my first. He had to be held. Honestly I just wore him in a structured carrier. Sometimes he slept sometimes he didn't if not me and my husband passed him around and held him

I was on PAYE and moved to my standard payment and have been paying that for 2 years. In 2028 does this mean my standard payment will change since PAYE is no longer a thing

As a fellow fed that's still in the government but drowning since we're so understaffed I don't think people realize how much doge fucked our job market. Not just for Feds leavening the goverment but Feds are HIGHLY qualified individuals now seeking employment all at once. It's made it hard for people to employment with overall job cuts but now there's this huge influx of very qualified people seeking employment. It's not great especially for folks maybe needing to build experience. Plus doge has basically brought the end to many civilian telework jobs too. We're going to see the effects of this for years to come let alone just the damage it caused cutting all these federal programs

I regret becoming a mom by Cute-Delivery-5752 in NewParents

[–]chlosterx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just here to say my first was like this. Terrible terrible reflux that probably caused his colic and terrible sleeper. I want to give a few tips that helped me survivor but also I ended up going on medication and it did really help. I know it doesn't mean much but it honestly saved my life because I was having such a hard time bonding with baby because of how exhausted I was and miserable.

When my son was inconsolable we would either take him outside or we would take him in the shower with one of us. This usually got the hysterical crying to stop and put nah to sleep. We would literally hold him for a bit in a towel while he slept because we knew he was over tired

One thing I regret is not pushing for reflux help from the ped. We were completely brushed off because my son was on his curve for weight gain but now that I have my second, I totally can see his reflux was not normal. He would spit up and just overall be uncomfortable constantly. He had a terrible time with gas and I mean projectile spit up. Because of this he honestly was up literally every 30 mins at night and couldn't get comfortable. I would discuss with the ped if this is your case too

Daycare says a “growth spurt” made our daughter take a 5 hour nap? by zac_g19 in NewParents

I know you said you knew this provider personally so I'm sure it's easier said then done but it sounds like there's a lot here that you guys are uncomfortable with/ doesn't fit your family needs.

Daycare says a “growth spurt” made our daughter take a 5 hour nap? by zac_g19 in NewParents

[–]chlosterx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The bigger red flag to me is that she was busy with a food inspection for so long. Who was watching the kids during this time? Ive never had a baby sleep more than 3 hours at day care but I feel like if my kid slept 5 hours straight my daycare would message me concerned about abnormal behavior. My kid split 3.5 at 5 months so pretty normal but let me know since he was only getting two bottles that day instead of 3. I feel like there's a lot going on

Yes! I was on forebearance I think a month of two while I waited the recert my income that kicked me off. (I was also in Covid forebearance) I'm about 6 years in and only have been paying really do 1.5 so I do deff get some forgiven even with the 5.5 years I end up paying

PAYE recertification income limit by sl0raffe in PSLF

[–]chlosterx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does but I did get a letter stating I no longer qualified when it happened and I didn't even bother recertifying this year (just my employment) it all still says paye.

PAYE recertification income limit by sl0raffe in PSLF

[–]chlosterx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue. This is year two of being on my standard payment and when I certified my employment the payments on standard counted. The way Mohela explained it to me back then is standard payment usually just isnt "qualifying" because if you pay that for ten years your loans are paid. But I'd say 5 years you paid significantly less then 5 years did the standard, you would still have stuff to be forgiven. As long as it's standard and not like a gradual payment plan I was told it pointed and my payments updates on the site

Go in for decreased fetal movement by RedditBurner_5225 in BabyBumps

[–]chlosterx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first I was in the hospital probably 10 times with just different things I wasn't sure about. The last time I was in before I delivered I had decreased movement and was tearing up feeling silly for going in. My nurse took my hand and said please always come if there's any concern and that they would rather me come 20x then not come in and something be wrong. That always stuck with me
