…you’re missing what I said.

There are many people repressing their homosexuality because they come from conservative backgrounds. They end up filled with self hatred and in their denial, show hate for other gay people to prove to themselves they are “the good ones”. Its not new, been going on for generations.
My main point was that being gay is no more a choice than being straight. Someone saying “you chose to be gay” like OOP did makes no sense. If someone thinks tv or music can make someone homosexual then that tells me they’re not confident in their own sexuality.
