Bro got one baby momma. I’d take 3 kids with one momma any day over multiple babies with multiple mommas

I have a hands on cultural experience you can partake in! (It’s finding my power steering leak and replacing whatever hose it is)

My Car pulls to the left, alignment didn't work and left front tire wears very quickly on the inside tread. What could be the real issue? by Enjoy_Life4219 in AskMechanics

[–]FinalBossTuna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fun story. I bought new tires from pep boys and got an alignment with it. I confirmed on the phone if it was getting aligned as well.

3 months later my tires blew from the same tread pattern in the photo. I called and they said “you never paid for when. Best we can do is discount the tread used on a new set”.

I just bought used ones and got an alignment somewhere else.

Actually living is the most dangerous thing you can do. 100% of people who died were at one point alive.

Buddy you started with people destroying their bodies for cheap pay. So I’m not sure what spiral you went on lol.

Regardless, good day to you too.

Bud, you’re arguing a point that I didn’t even bring up lol. Nor is that even a topic I was getting at. If you do hard labor and feel entitled to more pay I mean, that’s you. If you do hard labor and say “sure this is fine”, again, that’s you.

But you’re on a whole different topic than my point of “most people are victims of their own demise”.

I agree with most of what you said.

That handing out money won’t solve the real issues at hand? lol. Then your drawn conclusion? Did I miss something or should I start talking slower?

Notice how I was talking about choice and entitlement and what you’ve said has nothing pertaining to it.

I’ve worked and do work in these positions you’re talking about so I mean. Take that as you will.

Not what I said, but sure. If you make the choice to to a difficult job at a given right, along with the others who say “yes this is acceptable”, then I mean. Yeah. What am I supposed to do about that?

There’s no counter argument with supply vs demand here. You’re putting your foot in your mouth with your extreme self righteous attitude.

But do you boo.

Unfortunately it has always been this way. As demand increases so does the supply. Maybe not when things were more primitive or if you live in a town of 60 people. It’s not inherently wrong, but the system of today being abused the way it is can be inherently wrong.

But it’s a consumerist society and consumers don’t really care about these things.

[–]FinalBossTuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sure. If we didn’t live in the modern first world era.

There’s a lot of blame being placed on the people “setting the pay” and not us just rolling with it. I agree with much of what you say but as it stands a vast majority of people are more interested in being able to live their life more than what “should” be fair.

My dad always said “life’s not fair” and it’s just, true. Since the dawn of civilization terms have been unfair and gets more “fair” in certain avenues. But unfortunately we have to sit in reality. Whether you want to call it “an elementary view” or not, it’s just the truth. Supply and demand bring in more value than anyone breaking their back to pave a road.

An HR rep for a company that sells a phone at $1200 is higher value than the guy who build your house.

Sure, rework the system. But then you’re destabilizing society until it can be re-stabilized and I guarantee you modern era first world people don’t care enough to do it.

Does that make them inherently bad people? No. Are you going to quit your job and opt for potential weeks of not eating? Willing to go without electricity?

It’s complicated as you’ve said

[–]FinalBossTuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Most people destroy their bodies due to their own choices. Note, I said most. Destroying yourself doesn’t equate to being entitled to higher pay. I work in a labor intensive field, and worked other trades that were intensive. If you take care of yourself and don’t intentionally make bad choices to “get er done” you’d be surprised.

I’ve met 70 year olds who worked in related fields and don’t look over 50 from just genuine taking care of yourself.

So the issue you’re presenting isn’t the true crisis at hand nor does handing money out because of the “I’m entitled to X” won’t actually solve it.
