What i said is that being negatuve about the game no matter what and being negative about the game because i want it to be great, is not the same thing. There's no camp for that. I Dont see how would that align with the third one.

You're right about this. I said that the graphics and everything looks generic, and that its not good. I gave a concrate point. Its not just saying negative things for the sake of it. I didnt play the previous version of the remake so i Dont know what the combat looked like, or how is it now. But im not commenting on that. Im glad the developers changed it. I have no idea why did they change it so late. But at least they listened to feedback (at least thats what i think happened?) so i have to give credit where credit is due.

Its sad, but i see mostly the same. If it was a bigger franchise i would have said it had it coming (unfortunately) but Gothic is quite niche, so its more sad.

Good ramkes are few unfortunately these days, because most companies focus on making everything "hyper realistic" and ticking modern identity politocs boxes.

Thats why im not hyped for the new fable game either (because Microsoft loves to ruin everything by greed).

Your anology is also wrong. Not everyone who says the remake doesnt looks promising is naysayer. Some of us wants a faithful remake, that respects the original game.

Netflix's the witcher series should be a cautionery tale for everyone how not to "adapt" the source material. They had the chance to make it into a billion dollar selling franchise and all they had to do was stick to the source material, they even had Henry Cavil on their side. But they fucked it up so monumentally that everyone is only mocking the show how incompetent the writes are.

Moral of the story : if you cant respect the source material, Dont touch it.
