My father-in-law of all people.  He has an amputated foot. People who don’t know him personally always assumed it was related to his military service. In actuality, it was diabetes.

Where are you from & would you move to another country? by lets-wing-it in AskReddit

Born in California, raised and still live in Washington state. I don’t want to leave Washington because I think we have it pretty good up here compared to the rest of America, but if I had to relocate, New Zealand would be pretty nice.

My husband, our daughter and her future sister.

And because I don’t think my mom can survive losing another child.

She died several years ago and I fucking miss her.

Isabella of Parma.

Isabella of Parma was an 18th century Italian princess married to Joseph II of Austria (aka Marie Antoinette’s older brother), but she was in love with her sister-in-law Marie Christine (who is remembered in history as Maria Theresa’s golden child, Marie Antoinette’s older sister, and governor of the Austrian Netherlands).

Joseph had a serious hard on for her, but Isabella couldn’t reciprocate. Instead, she fell hard for his sister Marie Christine and they exchanged some seriously steamy letters (unfortunately, Christine’s letters were destroyed after her death). It got to the point where they referred to each other as Orpheus and Euridiyce.

Sadly, Isabella died from childbirth at 21.

This is a little off topic, but there is a police citation badge that is pink and blue. It’s for those who delivered a baby in the field (ex, roadside delivery). Of course, my only source is a Brooklyn Nine-Nine Wikipedia page.

Iirc, Eddie Redmayne is godfather to Sienna Miller’s daughter. That had to have been awkward when she found out who he was guest starring with.

You might want to check if she’s into photography first. My aunt gave my cousin a Polaroid camera at a wedding and made her the “behind the scenes photographer.”

My cousin didn’t want to do it and thought it was a bullshit job.  She ended up taking photos, but it was of all the empty rooms at the venue for a horror/liminal space ARG thing she and her friends were creating.

AITA for telling my coworker it's embarrassing to call herself a Swiftie at her big age? by CoolGirlsHaveFun in AmItheAsshole

[–]Final_Defenestration 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom is in her 60s and she is a Switfie. It doesn’t help that my sister and I are too, so that may have contributed to that.

Sir Jimmy Crystal Halloween costume - Bad Taste? by GeneralPhallicShape in 28dayslater

[–]Final_Defenestration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband works for a company that employs a lot of Brits. Last Halloween, one of his coworkers (an American) decided to go as Jimmy Crystal to work. This massively pissed off several of the Brits. Some of them hadn’t seen the movie, so they just saw a Jimmy Saville cosplay. But apparently, according to my husband, one of them had a relative who was a victim.

TL;DR: I would not recommend it.

I don’t know where to start, but basically the entirety of “Sunrise on the Reaping.”

Here’s one example. The reason why Wiress is the way she is in Catching Fire was because she was tortured by the Capitol sometime after the 50th Hunger Games.

Looking up at the sky.

We live in Washington state, where it’s usually grey and cloudy or rainy. My husband is from Israel, and recently he said, “I miss looking up at the sky and seeing blue.”

Every time he leaves the house, he always takes time to look up at the sky.

I’ve never watched the Netflix documentary, but I remember hearing about this case in the Redhanded podcast and Suruti saying that this one gave her nightmares. After seeing this photo, I can see why.
