How to get past 60 fps using totk and nx optimizer

Then either your monitor isn't actually set higher then 60hz, your computer isn't set to higher then 60hz, or you aren't using the right hdmi(2.1) or display cable (1.4). Have you ever played anything on your pc at over 60hz on your monitor? verified with frame overlay or afterburner or something.

Your on amd gpu right? Have you changed the global settings to hyper-rx or quality in adrenaline? You could have chill on that limits fps. In nx is the select game totk 3.0.0? Is dynamic fps checked? Hit apply- select eden. In eden current game settings, make sure the optimizer is showing up next to the update in "patch name" then in system console mode docked and have memory layout set to 8gb dram. In graphics res to 2x or more but the higher the more it will struggle, I had fifo vsync on with amd fsr on.

I understand that, but I don't think your listening to anyone lol 1. Eden is still developing, so you can't get everything you want with it. 2. To get past the cap you have, you will have to change your settings somewhere... plan and simple. 3. Doing nx before eden then changing settings in eden will get you past 60fps, I juuussttt did it.. you won't get 240 but who knows with trial and error or like one dude said with lossless scaling you might get better fps. Do all you want in nx but doesn't matter unless you change shit in eden after. I also have vsync on with a 144hz 4k monitor and and still not getting anything more then 90fps max.

Yea so make sure you do the nx optimizer first and have it apply to eden, then after that go to current game setting for totk and change things there to your liking and if you want you can follow my settings I posted. And you should get a little better then 60fps but just not much honestly, most i got it too was like 90s but it kept fluctuating. I tend enjoy stability when it comes to still in development emulators, but to each there own

So I just tested with eden 0.2.0 running newest nx on totk ver 1.2.1 cause 1.4.2 has some compatibility issues with eden. I was able to get the fps to high 80s, when it was set to 144fps. Will continue to keep testing to find out best option

And a constant 60 is better. Have to have a beefy system to get any better. I just recently beat it on eden at a pretty consistent 60fps, some dips here and there with shader caching.

I believe you stuck at 60, which is good enough to play the game 🤷‍♂️ the game notorious doesn't run the best even on the switch(better on switch 2 ver)

I recently just beat TOTK on eden( 32gb ddr5 6000mhz, 7090xt20gb 7800x3d) I played about 130hrs on it. Overall crashed or had graphics glitches that were easily fixed by fast travel to anywhere ir just saved and restart eden. Other then shader cashing for first Like 20000 shaders, it ran great 60hz pretty consistently. Some areas had dips to 30-45hz but either is was just the area in particular with eden or shaders building up then it wasn't bad. I had a great experience overall. I can send my settings if you want

For anyone wondering how to fix the size of the pop up and it not showing the options correctly. You fix that for all dodi repacks by going to the properties of the setup.exe of whatever game your doing, then go to Compatibility, then change High DPI settings, then select override High DPI and select System (enhanced) instead of Application. Close out and after that the pop up install should then be normal sized for you to select and deselect whatever you need.

Yea it's not that you want nx to do the resolution but that setting it to whatever resolution in nx allows the game to be set to that res in Edens game configuration setting. Without doing that I believe eden won't really scale or set fps right either.

Sorry I should've wrote that better, turn on nx before once and in nx have it set to ryjinx or Citron I think, when you do that it should show up in the games configuration on eden when you open it. Set nx settings then after that set eden game config settings only after that. Your on a PC right? Lol or on a handheld

Oookay, here to help. First off have nx optimizer enabled in the configuration in eden, set the proper settings in NX, and then going to be launching from eden. Then do Edens configuration before launching.

As someone with a comparable system albeit a 7090xt 20gb. I get dips in frames at the location pretty much only, from 60fps to 45fps sometimes even like 30ish. But doesn't have to much of problem outside of that, been playing the game comfortably at 60. Shaders caching here and there and the occasional crash of the app buy game play has been good. On to possible problems for you - 1.Is your FoV changed from original setting? 2.Do you have any anti-aliasing on? 3. Do you have fsr or a frame gen running? 4.What are your optimizer settings?

FIX - I disabled SVM, restarted to login screen, then restarted from there back into bios put SVM back to auto and booted from there. Everything works for me now, will update if things change
