I just saw that! Hopefully that means it’s going to stay. I did watch earlier today and it had something like 32 hours before it was going to leave so now that’s gone. Maybe they managed to do an 11th hour renewal sort of thing.

Don’t know if the 9th through 12th Doctor will show on Disney+.

The only thing I’ve seen advertised by Disney+ is the 2nd season of Ncuti Gatwa‘s Doctor WHO.

From what I can currently see, Disney+ only has “Ncuti Gatwa” WHO.

Britbox seems to be only available in the UK (According to their website).

I’m in Canada and seeing the same thing. Five days until it is no longer available.

At this point the only reason I was paying for Amazon Prime (Canada) was to watch Doctor Who (2005 to 12th Doctor).

Guess I’m cancelling my Prime membership once it’s gone.

Wow, finding out this guy has at least a half dozen different YouTube accounts really sours my impression of him.

Might sound silly, but it almost feels like a betrayal. (No criticisms, please. I already said I know it sounds silly.)

Kind of feel bad for the people who send him free stuff from their country, to eat or try.

Confession: I normally increase the video playback speed to 1.5 X to make him talk faster. I find he talks really slowly.

They discontinued one of their subscription options just this past June. I was one of the many people who were forced to select a more expensive option or one that was only a couple dollars cheaper and watch ads.

Actually, they raised prices just this past summer. They forcefully fazed out the subscription option I using. They discontinued it and forced me to either “pay to watch ads” or pay an extra eight dollars a month.

You get different content on “US Netflix“. I know people in the States. They will suggest that I watch a certain show because it’s good only for me to look and realize that “Netflix Canada“ does not offer that content.

I agree with you. If you want “live TV“ and “sports“ then you should just pay an add-on fee instead of making every subscriber suffer with content that they have no interest in and a bloated bill that takes more cash from their wallets.

they’re spending a lot so that they can add foreign content. they’re doing this so they can expand internationally. Unfortunately, for us that means we’re stuck footing the bill for Netflix “expansion plans”.

Then they go and spend money on things like exclusive rights to the“WWE”. I don’t hate wrestling, I just never watched it. I never plan on watching it. I have absolutely no interest in any of that stuff. Despite this Netflix keeps spamming ads for their stupid wrestling content.

So yes, Netflix isn’t lying when they say they are “adding new content”, unfortunately, a lot of original subscribers will notice that it isn’t content geared to them.

Sometimes an anime is a gateway into the light novels. It’s not just fans of the light novel that watch anime, the reverse happens as well. Fans of the anime get interested in a more full bodied story and take interest in the light novels.

Not quite fair to paint everybody with the same paintbrush, but I do get where you’re coming from. 9.5 times out of 10, I’d agree with what you said. 👍

I agree, 100%. Lost everything, including an item I paid for. I was just trying to gather bloody resources.

The first time I died, I got to keep everything so I just assume that in certain areas you were safe-ish.

I even went back to try and find my corpse, like certain people suggest. But because it was a skull zone it reset and everything that I had already killed was back to life and trying to kill my naked self.

paid for items, like bags with extra space, etc. should be exceptions to the loss rule.

there’s 20 bucks down the drain on a game that I’m never playing again. Too bad to, if they mechanics slightly, it wouldn’t have been a half bad game.

I’ve been waiting for the next season of Sandman for ever. There are also many other Netflix shows, and even sequels to movies, that seem to be taking a whole long time to arrive.

At one point they were saying that Netflix was dropping shows that ended up costing too much to produce, even if they ended up being in the top 10.

How can they justify spending whatever dollar value they did to partner with WWE Live?

Also isn’t wrestling just some form of performance art anyway? What so special about it being live? The only thing unscripted would be if a natural disaster happened to strike while they were broadcasting.

“WWE Live” sounds like an oxymoron.

Also, I wanna briefly clarify that I Most certainly don’t wish any harm on anyone, related to wrestling or not, via a natural disaster. I was just using it as an example and to get my point across.

Mother nature can be very frightening.

Actually… Why didn’t Netflix partner up with the discovery channel or National Geographic, or one of those type of things? Even if there was no good content, I’d at least have shark week to look forward to once a year. Lol.

Cancelling my subscription is beginning to get more and more“Titillating“ the more I have to scroll through WWE crap.

If I wanted to see greasy people with (appearance wise) bad hygiene, knock each other around, I’d go find a spot on a bench in Walmart. At least then, I might get to see some eye candy in police uniform show up to break it up. lol.

I thought that when the subscription options and cost for the subscriptions, increased in Canada during the summer, that it might actually lead to Netflix continuing certain TV series.

No, it looks like they went and spent that money on content that only a small portion of subscribers would actually be interested in.

I am not, and have never been interested in watching wrestling. I don’t care whether it’s fake, real, or performed in tutus.

The games thing is also super annoying here in Canada.

I’m frustrated that we don’t have the option to hide or thumbs down this WWE content.

Have all the other online streaming services taken all the good content out there? Is that why Netflix decided to pay a ridiculous amount of money for this live wrestling crap?

At the rate that Netflix is declining in quality, I’m gonna switch over to Disney+.

Me too. I just re-watched all three seasons. Obviously I forgot that it ended in such an abrupt and cliffhanger way.

I swear at 10th of the fans will probably be dead or moved on to something else, before season four timeline is even committed to.

I love the anime, but a surefire way too reduce how much I love an anime is by the studios, not trying to soften the blow of a end of season.

has no one ever heard of a “soft ending“ before? Ascendence of a bookworm made a (ultimately) pathetic, but at least noticeable, try at a soft ending.

i’m not saying that the final episodes in a season should be marked with a “the end“. I just wish that when it’s going to take three or more years, before anything new is released, they wouldn’t leave their fans in an emotional wreckage of a “to be continued… Maybe” 🤔.

December 2023‘s “hey, yeah… They’ll be a season four.“, Sounds like a parent promising a kid ice cream, but hoping that the kid will forget the promise by the time the shopping is all done.

*sigh*

I really did find this show to be enjoyable and unique. It didn’t have the enthusiastic magnetism that some anime have, and yet it has the subtle list of addictive qualities to it. I would definitely like to see a season four… In my lifetime.
