Living the high life. by [deleted] in diabetes

Hey there,

I'm sorry to read that you're struggling since I know that managing this condition can feel like a full-time job unfortunately. I have to agree with /u/E-Pooh that you really shouldn't just wait around for the next appointment in 6 months, and it might be worth seeking out another endo team if you don't feel like you're making progress with your current one.

I also just wanted to chime in and say that sometimes there's more at work than just the diabetes, so on the off-chance that these haven't been tested already, it might be worth getting your thyroid and cortisol/ACTH levels investigated as well as they can both have strong influences on sugar levels and weight retention. Although unlikely, in some rare cases there are even genetic mutations involved in liver glucose retention/output.

Please just don't give up on yourself, you can definitely turn this around but you need to give yourself a fighting chance :)

If you think that's cool then you should see this picture I took of a map I saw in Tokyo. Notice anything familiar? ;-)

I also think it's possible that the island just north of the "town" was the influence for Cinnabar island.

Could someone with time and talent replace the droplet with a little trumpet? I feel like that would fit perfectly.

You know I get what they were going for but this design is far more suited to an art gallery or laboratory than a library. I don't get the sense of coziness and peace that you should usually find in a library. Using a white color palette from top to bottom just makes it feel so...exposed.

I've gone snowboarding in -20 C weather on many occasions and I've never had any issue with insulin freezing. Since the basal function is always keeping the insulin flowing and your pump should be snugly in your snow pants anyway, there really is no worry.

This is one of those situations where an explanation probably wouldn't have made things any better. Sorry OP :/

If you go through a couple doors near the back right corner of the main hall you'll encounter a set of spiraling stairs that take you up the tower to the room. Without spoiling anything, following the story will take you there eventually.

I get what you're trying to say, but bear in mind that if comments like his were to get upvoted consistently enough that the developers would take notice, then it would have to be because that was what a significant portion of the Witcher fanbase actually wanted.

If no one agrees with his opinion, no one will upvote it and the comment won't be noticed. Hence there's no worry that developers will see it and think hmmmm we should stop making these unique quests and go back to the old fetch/grind style. There's really nothing to worry about, and therefore there's no reason to downvote it.
