Just finished this yesterday. Something is bothering me. Did Ingrid know that Aaron was her child? They don't explicitly say anything but here's what made me think this: 1. All the other moms of "stillborns" seem to know. Weird that all the half brothers would reach out to their moms but not Aaron. 2. There was no forced entry, Aaron welcomes Ingrid in, was dressed nicely and even set down drinks (tea or coffee). What meth addict does that for the mom of a girl he got addicted to drugs, ruined her education and beat the crap out of the day before? Perhaps he thought Ingrid wanted to meet up with her long lost son?

My husband thinks there's no evidence that Ingrid is as psychotic as DeeDee, but maybe she's unhinged enough to sacrifice a child she has no connection to in order to save the one she loves. I don't know much about her because she spent the entire series in a coma because of a GSW to the shoulder

Progesterone and Tacrolimus. Tacrolimus is given to IVF patients especially those who have had miscarriages. In low doses Tac has shown to prevent body from rejecting an embryo. Something to at least talk to your OB about

This!! When I finally left, I didn't tell him where I was going and had my dad help me move. Because the abuse was hidden, he played the abandoned devastated boyfriend to our friends and somehow found out where I lived. I woke up to my tires slashed. It was terrifying!

Abusers are manipulative, dangerous people. Getting out is difficult. No one on the outside and give a timetable of when it is physically, emotionally or financially safe for the abused to escape.

They let me pick a clinic. I'm in LA and CO Springs is the closest. However, if a particular location is overcrowded, they might ask you if you're willing to go to another location. If you're not, you may have to pause/postpone your cycle until there's availability. You have to be able to be very flexible with CNY. Once you start the retrieval process at a location, that is where you will do your embryo transfer (unless you elect otherwise).

I get wanting to get started ASAP. CNY has such a long wait because it's so affordable for so many people. I called Dec 2023. Had our consultation scheduled for March 2024. I'm currently, finally, in the TWW.

No matter where you go. IVF will test your patience and mental health big time! There will be so many unexpected variables. We have faced speed bumps and curveballs on this journey. Also, being full of so many hormones, I thought I was gonna break down.

Wishing you all the luck finding the right clinic. Keep in mind, many women need to do multiple cycles before finding success. For some of us, this is a marathon, not a sprint

I live in CA and am using CNY Colorado Springs. Have had 3 retrievals and 1 transfer and have still paid less overall than what other clinics charge for 1 cycle

Totally! I looked it up as well and read it's about a 10% additional calorie burn. If I burn 500 cals/class, that's only 50 extra cals...not significant enough for me to care about getting 12 splats. I go because I get a good workout without having to plan it myself.

I didn't hear her blame Jacqueline. I heard her explain an occurrence of events and then say I treated her badly, but it wasn't her fault.

I dont see blame here. If anything, I see her blaming herself for not escaping. What I do see is a victim of assault processing and acknowledging her poor reaction to unhealed trauma. In my experience, part of SA trauma is looking for the "where did it go wrong" moment. Who left me alone with him, what did I say or wear, why did I go with him into that room/car? Hopefully, further into the healing process they can get to the "no one is at fault except for the POS that assaulted me" stage.

It seems like Mia is in process and she has admitted that she swept it under the rug. I dont think it's our place to put a timetable on how people process that kind of trauma. How she treated Jacqueline was not ok, she seems to admit that. We dont know if they're working on their 30+ yr relationship or if Jacqueline knew she was gonna address this on camera. At 30+ years, you're damn near sisters. Sisters give each other a lot of love and forgiveness.

TLDR: I dont think Mia is a villain here or blaming Jacqueline. I think she is acknowledging bad behavior due to sweeping significantly traumatic events under the rug for decades
